free memory sticks for teachers(merged)

i work as a school nurse and ordered one as do lots of health education in schools in my area and not recieved yet.

we buy our own pens, memory sticks, post it notes etc as it takes so long to get them through an order its easier to buy your own. (such as 7mths to get a notice board and then another 3mths before anyone came to put it up!!)

Has anyone ever had any free memory sticks? Over time I have applied for loads of free memory stick offers, and none of them have ever arrived. Ever.

I don't believe there's any such thing as a free memory stick.

Then again, they're getting unbelievably cheap now anyway. My first one was £15 for 512MB, my latest one was about half the price for 4GB. Bargain!

I just ordered 5 off Boffer - They have them on offer tonight if anyone reads this in time - 5 with a minimum of 1gb each for £5.99. I can load each one with a different subject now as our college server is so measly with our own space:rotfl:

Did anyone ever get one of these sticks? We're now in 2011 and all I get is a load of advertising bumph. No memory stick...

I can't help thinking it was all a big con. Anyone got any ideas?
