Well to put it as briefly as possible. Think how you feel when you've had your 2.4 darlings stuck in the house for a couple of hours. Add another 20 odd little darlings, an Ofsted inspector, the author of whatever part of the national curriculum you have to follow, a stroppy parent who thinks they can do better job and that little Jimmy has been picked on because he threatened to hit the teacher. Then add a pile of marking that is neither readable or intelligable but will take you 3 hours to do after dinner.. Oh yes then do it again and again 8 hours a day for 40 weeks of the year.

Well said...as an exteacher I wholeheartedly agree with every word you say.

It is far too easy for people to knock teachers...until you`ve done the job you have no idea what it involves.

I dare you to do it for a week! Never mind seven or eight weeks on the trot ('till next half-term :rolleyes: ), anybody who works in education deserves and needs their time off!

This looks like a bloody
good freebie - I saw on the web that the stick, when released in January, will actually be a 4GB version - with some very useful software included. Trouble is I'm not a 'Teacher'. Any ideas on how I get around this?

Stick duly applied for. Now - anyone know where I can get just an ordinary, everyday working memory. The kind that will help me find my glasses, know where I've put the camera charger etc etc???
