  • Hello all,
I am a long-time lurker on these boards, but don't usually post! :o
However I am so inspired to make the snowman soup I had to break my usual lurky habits and post! (Thanks to the people who posted photos, they look brilliant.)
I really want to make these for Xmas, only trouble is me and my little boy are veggies, therefore can't have marshmallows. I have searched all over the web for veggie marshmallows, but it seems they don't exist. (Boo!) Does anyone have any good ideas for something to substitute for the marshmallows in the snowman soup cones? I can't think of anything!

My [STRIKE]skinflint[/STRIKE] thrifty nature says to buy a value bar--think MrS does white choc--& chill really well. Use a grater or potato peeler to make 'bits' then bash with a wooden spoon to get 'chunks' that would take longer to dissolve in the hot choccie.
