Hiya!
If someone is in the process of making some, or knows the info themselves I would appreciate it:
How much (weight wise) do you use of the hot chocolate and the same question for chocolate chips?
I need to do some calculations before I hit my monthly Asda shop - I don't want to be left with not enough or loads too much!
Hi Sophie
I have just done 12 snowman soups and they look great. Not sure how to put a pic on here but will look and have a go.
I bought 4 packets of choc chips and 2 bags of marshmallows from asda.
I used Galaxy instant hot choc and put 8 heaped teaspoons in (enough for two cups). Sealed this and put it in another bag.
I used the lid off of the galaxy pot and poured a good layer of choc chips in and the poured this on top of the sealed choc powder. I just poured the marshmallows in to about 1 and half cap fulls.
Galaxy Instant Tesco £1.50 Bought 3 used 1 and half
Choc chips Asda i think 69p bought and used 4
Marshmallows Asda bought 2 used just over 1 and half 99p
Candy canes Tesco 99p:beer: Officially Debt Free Nov 2012 :beer:0 -
I managed to get away with using one cone - I used a funnel to get the powder in then filled with the choc bits and marshmallows, really pleased!:xmassmile Looking forward to December:xmassmile0

This thread is awesome! I'd never heard of snowman soup before.
Looking on ebay to try and find a cheaper alternative to the cones I've just worked out a slightly different method to make these with any cellophane or thick sandwich bags and only having to use one piece!
Thanks!!!A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
