Many Thanks LoopyLinz, will have another look on ebay.
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.
  • Thanks everyone for your replies, I think I will go with milkshake for him.
  • Home Bargains seem to be the cheapest for the Candy Canes. Can't remember (I should as I've bought about 20 boxes) but it was either 69p or 79p/box. 69p rings a bell. That's for 12 in a box.
    If I had known then what I know now . . .
:A Official Boots Tart (I seem to be retired just now though) :A

Evening all I did these last year but the marshmallows went crispy by the time they were opened! Any idea on how to keep the mallow fresh or is it just tighten the ribbon tie?

I twisted the top of the cello cone and fastened with sellotape, then wrapped the ribbon around. Mine seemed to stay fresh.

    Mazcabz - hello!

I found candycanes in a discount shop today - 12 for 99p. Red and white stripe - I'm happy with that :D

I amd using piping bags from lakeland as I happen to have those in for other things. I'm not sure how they compare price wise.

    I'm just deciding on a poem/instructions.

this year I am making these for our christmas eve hamper - I am going to use jamie olivers recipe for hot chocolate though. I'm not sure it would look as tasty in a cone as drinking chocolate, but I'll give it a bash :D

    It's my first year making one. It's also the first year that I'm having Christmas at my house and therefore at home on christmas eve. There is DH, me and our almost 3yr old daughter. so far I have;

a plate we have decorated to put santa's mince pie on
pj's for all three of us
    a disney DVD (dumbo)
a christmas themed book for LO
    christmas sticker book for LO
bottle of bubbly for DH and I
    snowman soup x 3

I am also planning on some nibbles - thinking popcorn for with the film.
