  • hi i'm sure it's on here somewhere but i can't find how to get onion smell off my hands and it's driving me nuts!!!
    well that was ruined by lending ex oh £2450 to move out!!!!!! now estimate 21st march 2006hoping to be debt free by end of feb 2006 - fingers crossed !!

    I have not tried it myself ( can not hold my breath long enough ) :eek: but peeling underwater may help, :beer:

    I know it is not very OS but you can buy a metal thing (I think it is called metal soap) from ASDA that does the trick - I suppose this is based on the same principle as the metal spoon that FunkyFairy suggests

  • or a friend of mine swears by just washing your hands and wiping them round the bottom of the tap (!!), I suppose it's a metal thing.....can't say I've ever tried it,but, hey, it's free! ;)

    I once made coffee soap which was quite good for this. So maybe if you have any coffee grounds you could try rubbing them into your hands. I know some people keep coffee grounds in their fridge for smells.
