I like the idea of stockpiling the equivalent of the extra weight :T I decided to concentrate on my fitness from next week after my brother's wedding so I will work out how much 'stockpile' I need then.:D It'll be interesting to see...
Marru is doing okay, just insanely busy (I was there last night). Glad you have a great day with Janey Nyk!

Finally getting more into the frugal spirit in terms of cooking. :jAlthough it probaly sounds ridiculously obvious to most of you. But today was a good example, made 4 nice big chicken pasties as before, but instead of baking them all and munching away, we only had two for tea and I froze the other two unbaked for a quick tea another time. I also made a menu plan for the next two weeks so I don't have to go grocery shopping til I get paid next Friday.
We're going to the Enchanted Forest and a wedding this week but my plan is to keep the other days til payday (8/10) as NSDs. We'll see.;)
finally tea total but in still in (more) debt (Oct 25 CC £1800, loan £6453, mortgage £59,924/158,000)

    Hello all,

Yes I am still here. I did read all the messages yesterday but had a reporting deadline so had to put some hours in before crashing to bed.

I also would like to lose some weight. My weight loss campaign that I started in July/August failed miserably due to DD being off from nursery, me having one cold after another and then starting college. So all that I lost then is back plus one kg. Target to lose is 10 kg, approximately 20 pounds. If I pay for myself £2 per pound I should have in the end £40.- which should be more than enough for lovely full body massage. And as a bonus I can then take my MnS vouchers to get some size 12 jeans :D.

I have started a cross stitch for my friend who is getting married on Christmas, I have done about 20 stitches so I might just scan the picture from the pack and email it for her with my best wishes and say that the real item is coming later. :o (It is a picture of her dog.)

Which reminds me, those of you who sew and knit, if you have time would you consider making a coat for an old dog. Here is the link.

I am absolutely filthy so I am heading off for a bath (been mucking out horses and rabbits all day). DD had such a busy evening yesterday with Bails that she fell asleep on my lap when I was watching "It takes two" on TV. Unheard of that she drops off that early. So she is in bed and I am going to log off soon (after my scratch cards etc) and have a rest of the evening off.

    Great evening everybody!!!

    Marru

When you join B*tlins or L*ttlewoods bingo you can claim a free scratchcard every day, sometimes twice a day, with a minimum 10p win. They also have them on the Take a Br*ak bingo site, but there doesn't seem to be a cashback option for joining that. Same rules as usual, sign up, pay in and play through minimum, they match your deposit and, as long as you have a real cash balance, you can play a free scratchcard daily. I've been really lucky as I won an extra £10 whilst playing through my deposit. :D I only found out about them and started this month, balance so far is in my signature as 'Scratch'.
I reserve the right not to spend.
