Lol, thanks Nyk.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

Not long to go now,
I'm not going out tonight, have had 1 baileys and 1 Gin and tonic, so feeling quite good:beer:. I will be glad to see the back of ths year, it has not been a good one for me or my family, so I hope that 2009 will be a lot better. I have started my journal, so it will be an interesting read (for me) at the end of the year. If anyone else wants to read it, they can at the end of the year, I promise it will be a riveting read:p .
I went to tesco after work, but no whoopsies except turkeys and I have that coming out of my ears, so no point in buying more of that. I had a splurge, bought 2 baking trays, (in prep for the biscuits I intend on making), and some bottles of booze, gin, baileys and bucks fizz. Then that's it for me, frugality reigns!!!!
My freezer is full to bursting, so hopefully I won't need to buy food for a wee while, I'll just be looking for bargain buys. I might treat myself to one of those wee chest freezers, but I need to make sure I've room for it.
DH is going away for 1 day on Monday, and while he is gone, I'm going to look at all the toiletries I have. I get given fancy ones as gifts and I don't use them, I keep them good:o . So these will need to be used, I'll let you know what I find.
I'll need to go down and see DH to see what he's up to soon, then get the pie paste lid on for the steak pie. Stew and peas are ready for the bells!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR WHEN IT COMES!!!! LET THE CHALLENGE COMMENCE!!0 -
