I only ever access any of my email accounts on-line, have checked my Spam/Trash folders (always do before clearing them out -- 'just in case'), and have added the email address as approved to all of them.
I still only get 1 newsletter every couple of weeks if I'm really luck thoughCheryl0 -
It's the last day! I can hardly believe it! 2009 begins tomorrow
and we all know what that means! :beer:That's right, HANGOVERS! :rotfl:I reserve the right not to spend.

Hello everybody!
I have survived my slip to the dark side :rotfl:. From tomorrow the rules of my finances are going to be so tight that I shouldn't have a chance to buy any more. Anyway I have some left from yesterday so it will sit in the cupboard until the next - and final - desperate times.
DD's dad was supposed to be here mid morning/early lunch time so we shall see. I am planning on going for a nice walk with The Dog, clean the animals (better to do today as DD is not here to help me), have a look at my DMP (I started it last January and this week two have finally accepted it but one of the ones that accepted early wants to review and then one more to accept ) and then finalise my numbers for the grand opening of the new challenge tomorrow. There is one more spending going out as I need to renew my website that has been "under construction" for a year. After careful pondering I decided to keep it and hopefully find some time to work on it.
Sophiesmum - thank you so much for your lovely post. It made me all warm and fuzzy
Better get on now, catch up later with the full confession of how my last ten months with this challenge shows in numbers.
Have a looooovely day!

There won't really be one for me either, I'll probably have a half to see in the bells and then go to bed. Being a grandparent isn't always all it's cracked up to be, is it? We need to try to behave and act responsibly.:rotfl: (No giggling in the back row, please!)I reserve the right not to spend.

I've got the best of all worlds today. DH doesn't have to work today, so can relax (do all the jobs on his list
). He is working tomorrow but not until the afternoon, so can have a drink with me tonight, a lie in (:) ) tomorrow and then get paid double.
I am going to track all spends properly from tomorrow. I'm off to reorganise my scrapbooking cupboard.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

being a grand-parent is also the best excuse going for letting your hair down and acting daft[strike]er than normal[/strike], and for playing with all the toys that we've carefully put away when our own off-spring outgrew them.
of course, one of the best things is finally being able to buy all those noisy toys without having to suffer them 24/7 :rotfl:Cheryl0 -
Hi there,
Well, it is nearly here, the new year!!! I'm in the shop just now, it's been quite busy but am aiming for a 3pm finish. Everything is ready for the new year at home, I made my steak pie in the slow last night, and it tastes delish. I'm going to pop to the shops and see if there is any reduced stuff, and go back to boots to see if there is still anything decent in the sale.
I'll pop into Lidls too as it is next to the shop. Can't wait until tomorrow, speak later. xx0 -

I wont have a hangover tomorrow, 30 weeks pregnant and starting to resemble a whale!
Going to my parents tonight with DH they're having quite a few people over, drinks, food, singstar, stupid games etc. Could be quite entertaining. I'll be driving DH home after, and I WILL remember to take the video camera MIL and FIL bought us for Christmas. Could come in quite handy!!
Have a good night everyone and lets hope 2009 is a good one for us all. Am SO excited about starting the challenge properly (very sad)
Will catch up with everyone tomorrow on the shiny new thread (which is already growing very quickly!!)
xx0
