  • I'm finally all done, so thought i would pop in and wish you all a very happy christmas, and i hope it won't be too difficult for some of you. Surround yourself with love, and have a good one.

We have been busy here today, DH had to go out and buy my xmas present. I told him i wasn't particularly fussed if i had anything or not, as i personally can't imagine anything worse than shopping on xmas eve. We then sprinkled reindeer food on the garden with DSs, had a lovely family meal and got them to bed at a reasonable time so we could finish decluttering and getting the dinner prepped/me doing the remainder of the ironing. I'm going to have a lovely bath in a minute to allow DH to wrap my present, and then bed for me i think, as we don't know when the boys may wake in the morning and we want to be fresh enough for it. We were spoiled this morning as it was nearly 9 when they got up, although DS2 was up between 4 and 5, and at 7, so we appreciated that.

Anyway, computer will be going off now, and i don't know when i will next be on, possibly when we are back from visiting in-laws. So, i will be frugal and see you all when i see you. x
  • Killing time waiting for my darling brats to fall asleep. I cant find my list saying what I did and didn't include in challenge. So looks like this years is a rough guess that I have all the correct categories
Anyhow I have £12.92 in actual cash on me and that is what I am going to use for last of this year (due to go out Boxing night for a strange 80's/90's rocker reunion) Only other thing I will need in in more milk for new yearish, and if I have enough left after the reunion, A JAR OF COFFEE!!!
Going to stick my totals so far up and see how much I went over budget (cause I know I did) Will make sure next year I am more organised and when I start my new diary, will List what actual categories I want in the challenge. (plus I already have them wrote down in a book for 2009) Tired so not sticking this 2008 breakdown into alphabetical order.

I've had an absolute BLAST with Sophiesmum's "oldies" over the last couple of days.... but I'm absolutely, utterly and totally shattered now !!! I really don't know how she keeps up with them, and they were are settling down for a game of bingo when I left tonight so I guess she's not going to get an early night tonight

Anyhow, I've been home about 45 mins and am finally back in what my son's would call "proper" clothes (SM can enlighten you as to what I've been wearing all day if she wants). I'm now going to make myself a cuppa while I pack a couple of pushbikes into my car, then I'm off to DDs to deliver them.

If I'd got a move on when I got in I think I'd have made Midnight Mass, but I'm waaaay to tired...... especially as I have a pile of pressies to wrap (once I've found some of them) before I can go to bed !!!!!!

By 'mostly wearing' I assume that she has worn it most of the day, rather than it was mostly covering her! Glad you've enjoyed yourselves.

Dear all, merry, peaceful, contented, special christmas to you all, you lovely people. I love you guys xxxx
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

By 'mostly wearing' I assume that she has worn it most of the day, rather than it was mostly covering her!
Bit of both I think :rotfl:

Think "Cheeky Girls", but not quite as short or low cut -- and with the "padding" in different places

    Hi all,

Well, that's my christmas dinner all prepped up and ready to go. The turkey is cooked, the 2 soups (brother is veggie), are made, all veggies are peeled. I'll make the prawns up in the morning, just to make the sauce and chop the lettuce and wash it.

I got a chicken for the wee sis last night in my during the night shopping trip. It was a Mr T willow farm one, so not cheap. When I opened it, I noticed a brown thing under the skin, it looked like an abcess or something, and it stank. I cut it out and was nearly sick. DH said to cut it out as it was on the skin and not touching anything and cook it, (sis requested it in the slow). I put it in and knew that I could not give her it to eat and DH said not to be silly, he would eat it. When I took the lid off, the smell was horrible, I binned it. She will just need to eat turkey, she won't starve!! I'm going to take the packaging back to mr T's and tell them. The price tag was covering the stinky bit. Old stinky chicken, and I got up in the night to buy it as well!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: One thing I did notice though was that although it stank, it was really tender, so it might be really nice to do chicken in the slow.

Have a happy christmas everyone, will check in tomorrow. xxxx
