Purplevamp, she's absolutely gorgeous!:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0

Ah bless her, she's gorgeous! Thanks Purplevamp!
Morning everyone else! Not so great here so may have to miss sign language today. :rolleyes:I do have to go to a meeting to find out my care plan for going back to work though - will be interesting to see what they've come up with.
Have a good day all x
Oh, also guys - I'm trying to collect several sets of the WW1 booklet series from the Gu@rdian/0bserver this week to use as a teaching aid, where do you think's the best place on here to post my request please? Also, if any of you have them I'd really appreciate them and will of course send you the postage. Thanks a lot!The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Where is everyone?
I've had a truly carp day thanks to narrowmindedness, judgmental comments and outright lies!! To say I'm gutted would be an understatement. So much for 'support' agencies...The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

I've been trying to do more decluttering so have been limiting my time on here so I get more done  :rotfl:Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Thanks guys, I needed those hugs! That's the thing Sophiesmum, there is no support network. I've been scrabbling around for so long trying to help myself as much as possible and volunteering for schemes like this in a vain bid to get just a little help, and to be perfectly honest, I'd be better off just taking care of myself  How the government can employ people to help people on incapacity get back to work who have no caring skills, listening skills, basic knowledge of illness or any tact whatsoever, is completely beyond me
I'd better leave it there or I could go on for ages
How's everyone else's day been? How's the decluttering going Taka? I hope to do a little more this week, once I've got my big form finished and in the post.

Oh bails have a hug as long as you don't mind breathing alcohol fumes
I treated myself to a bottle of Zinfandel which is reduced in Mr M's as I needed a bit of a boost after visiting Mum
Had a good time in Glasgow and managed to spend only a little. Bought a packet of mints to eat on the train and a bar of Aero. I did enjoy them and I saved enough from my mega stock up 2 weeks ago to be able to afford them with no guilt.
While I was in Mr M's, they were reducing vegs so I lurked around until I managed to pick up enough for a big pan of soup for about £2 which will feed me for days. It will make a change from the broth which I am still ploughing my way through
DS1 put TV into my bedroom while I was away which means I can at least watch the free channels when I get in from work in bed rather than put the heating on
Good luck with the moggy Nyk. I first knew we had mice when I discovered all the the toilet rolls shredded on the bathroom floor  We were given some granules to get rid of the little b******* and not only did they eat the granules, they ate the chip tray we put them in :rotfl:Mum's Memory of the Day
Mum loved Classical music. Her favourite piece was Beethoven's Piano Concerto and she would conduct it happily if it ever came on the radio. As a child, she had learnt to play the piano because her Dad was a fantastic pianist. Now, her fingers are bent with arthritis and it is so sad that such a wonderful gift has been lost.0 -
