  • I tried to order 150 boxes of these, and they phoned me to say that due to the volume they need to charge me 5 x Gold Delivery fee!!! Cancelled my order. Cheaper to order 5 seperate orders of 30 boxes!

I phoned Thorntons to enquiry abou the date on them as I want some as business gifts. She told me that the earliest date on them would be the end of February 2009.
  • Be careful telling them they are business gifts, they wouldnt give me any delivery or discount when I wanted 150 from their corporate as they say the promotions are for consumer use only and not corporate.

I only need about half a dozen for special clients, so won't raise any alarm bells with them but thanks for the warning.
