The police left a message a couple of weeks ago saying the company was a one man band, who had been off sick and was now back at work. They said that I should receive my order now.

Two weeks later and it's still not arrived, the police advise that they have not committed an offence as they have promised to deliver the goods! That it is a civil matter and I will either have to wait or take them to court.

I wish I'd read this earlier. I also placed an order on 28/2/06 and have not received anything. I try to call on a regular basis, varying the time, but no answer yet. Have e-mailed and faxed and still nothing.

Perhaps we will all have to get together and contact their local trading standards office

I know its already been done and with hardly any success but I would ring trading standards and the police.

I'm sorry but these people CAN NOT be allowed to continue operating on the internet if they are going under.

If this isn't obtaining money by deception I don't know what is.

I have just gone on their website out of interest and tried to place an order (obviously I wouldn't have put my card details in!) , something which I tried before, after Trading Standards told me that their website was no longer taking orders. Before they let me try to place an order (which I didn't continue with), however, now a message comes up saying that the shop is undergoing some work (or something like that), and cannot take the order, please try again later.

So although we have all lost money, at least no one else will be!
