Anyone know if this company (The Work Basket)is still in existence, they are based in Aberbargoed. They deal in supplying wool. If anyone has used them lately it would be nice to know. Thanks very much.

Having seen this post I've paid them a visit (don't live too far away from them!) and what a treasure trove it is!

Interesting. Ordered goods early Dec. 2005, money taken from bank. No goods. No reply to two emails, no reply to phone call. Either a very long holiday, the whole family sick or, caput. Any information appreciated.

As I live very near to them I was able to visit their shop.

They did seem very busy there - in fact I went about 5 minutes before they closed on a friday afternoon and they sorted out my order there and then, even suggested a way of saving money!

I do have an alternative email address - chris@theworkbasket.co.uk - which may get you a quicker response and I do believe they are open tomorrow as well.

Where are you - are you able to pay them a visit, as I could give you directions to their shop.

Very interesting............I also placed an order end of November with the Work Basket........money was taken from credit card..........no goods............no reply to emails........not answering the phone.........I would appreciate any information please.

Thanks mountainofdebt......... I have just noticed a fax number for them so I'm going to try that first if no luck I will be in touch.

There is also a thread running on this subject on the johnsons site johnsoncrafts.co.uk which makes interesting reading for anyone else yet to receive their order. We are not the only unhappy customers...............

I will let you know how I get on with the fax approach.
