Things really haven't got bad at all yet:
Almost nowhere has had a recession yet
Unemployment has barely stirred
Corporate profits (non-financial sector) haven't fallen particularly
When the front page of the FT has a picture of Hank Paulson getting the Mussolini treatment from an angry mob, that'll be the time to buy.0 -

There are various ways it can be forced through but the simplest thing (and certainly the best politically) is for it to gain cross-party consensus. The longer this goes on I suspect the more entrenched the Free Market grouping is likely to become.0 -

Welcome to deflation. Even if the bill gets passed in the future it is still deflation. The extra money isn't enough to stop the deflating consequences of the mega-boom and all the mal-investment that went with it.0 -
