    :rotfl:

    That's about 2lbs worth then!

(not that I'm saying that you had a hairy chin but I sooo get where you're coming from. Hit your 30's and where do those hairs come from???)
I can't be bothered updating this anymore

Ok, challenge on no.1 mortgage was to pay off by my 50th birthday at end of Aug 2011 .

    40853.72 balance outstanding
    -10684.36 offset
    - 8862.67 ISAs
21306.69 net balance to find

    To be funded by:
3222.76 estimated reduction in mortgage balance from monthly payments
    7000 regular payments of 700 x 10
    2502 car payments (repaying offset)
    12724.76

    £8581.93 short :(.

However, that is based on only me OPing. In theory OH should be matching my 700 so that would leave us only 1581.93 short. Which rounded down to the nearest 2k is 0. SIMPLES :o (I'm good with rounding up or down and balancing items :rotfl:)

My bonus this month will clear stuff bought for DD and pay for Xmas. ish :o. I am committed to the new doors at £540 (not £560, see, saved £20 already). But I will have another bonus of around 850 to come, plus a tax rebate of 650. So that's 621ish. Definitely round downable :D

Ahem, note to self - do not do hard sums late at night :rotfl:. Forgot about our regular £200 a month, so that's another 2k. Which, as long as OH coughs up, leaves us £400 over. See, as I said, SIMPLES HScartwheel.gif

Right - having a sort out in the study as the paper gremlins had their mates round for a rave while my back was turned :o
    Progress:
There is space on one bit of the desktop :j
I have renewed my car insurance at £160 cheaper than renewal quote (no quidco though :() :j
Sent a letter to BTL mortgage co with a load of questions (mortgage in OH's name so they won't speak to me on phone) :j
Parcelled up 2 faulty deodorants to send back, complete with covering letter :j
Filled in paperwork to 'fess up to speeding & get sent on a speed awareness course :o
Am about to go into receipts piles. Please send search & rescue if not posted again by tomorrow
