Today will not be an AF day
Just posted on the MFiT board, my original target was £25,400 (reduction in mortgage number 1). On Monday should have paid off
£.
.
I thought the target was pretty tough so am really pleased, especially as I 'borrowed' 9k for a car (just over 5k still to pay back). My MFiT take 2 target won't be achieved so easily I think, but no point having an easy time of itMy own official target was to pay off all mortgages by time I was 55 but unofficially I was hoping for the time OH is 55 (18 months earlier, he is considerably older than me
). I said it out loud to him on holiday so I will need to achieve now. Need to start carrying duck tape for emergency use
MS has dried up at the mo but 1 job today so £10 for that.
Just spent £50 on ink , but that is 3 colour & 1 black cartridge, 10% off on site & 10% cashback to come.
Meal planning went v well this week although I ended up going out for lunch unexpectedly & forgot to bring soup home out of work fridge so that will be lost. Will be carrying on with it this week & have v small shopping list for today, plus a £5 Morrisons voucher. Cutting down cash I take out of bank as a result, which is just as well as I promised niece £75 towards some stuff for her baby due next month.
Need a few things from Boots so off there later - have coupon for use if I spend £20 so may stock up on some things, but my bubblebath is one of the few ones not on offerso will see if can get cheaper elsewhere.
Apart from that, a v quiet weekend, tidying & doing a few odd jobs, still, champers tonightA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Still here, but it's the quiet time of the month with not a lot happening. 3 MS yesterday, 2 today. £40 for kitty, plus tbags & loo paper.
Tried to book a weekend away this morning, error on site, now hotel was gone up £8 a night so won't book it as a matter of principle .
Still not drinking Sun - Thurs :A, did have champagne last night though (Asda special, OH bought it, insert banned roll eye smiley here).
Had a mouse (or mice) in garage, bought 2 humane traps, 1 was full this morning but mouse was dead . Must have died of fright or something. Chucked out trap, remaining one back in there tonight.
Will report back when something exciting happens.
