Happy New Year Gallygirl. I've read quite a bit of your diary and I'm just posting so I can subscribe to any updates to this thread.:D

    Cheers

 why  - you must have way too much time on your hands:rotfl:

    Well, Happy New Year everyone.

Back from Spain, I must say we timed it perfectly - the weather in Spain was bad before we went, great while we were there & now not so good again. And if we had been booked to fly a few days earlier/later we would not have got there, so well done us :D. Had a great time as always, a bit surreal sunbathing on New Years Day though. This was taken New Year's Eve:

Hope the weather is not causing you all too many problems. I've just posted elsewhere that I wanted 6" like everyone else :rotfl:but I've got the best of both worlds - only 1" here so I can get out & about but office snowbound so am working from home. Mucho petrol money saved :)

Not much else to report, v quiet on money front, spent over £100 yesterday booking car hire for Easter, it was on special offer & has tracked at £11.50 already so pleased with that :)

    Onwards & downwards folks :)

Well done on getting back GG, we came back on the 4th and BIL flew out on the 5th just before the roads closed down here so all lucky.

Seems a longtime to Easter but well done for getting cheap car hire.

Em, hello all :o. I have had a very quiet week, a few NSD's, a few MS and am ashamed to say I'm now off on holiday again for a week. When I get back I'm paid in a few days so all the excitement kicks off again then

Behave yourselves while I'm away, I'm relying on TG to keep order around here while I'm gone ;)

Well, had a great time :)
    But am back now :(
Just over 9 weeks till off to Spain :)

Need to motivate myself a bit rather than just count the days. Have decided a series of mini-targets in between holidays will help. So, in that time:
    - Mortgages total should drop to 133.3k. Aim to get it below 132k.
    - Drop weight by 9lbs (ahem, plus whatever I put on last week )
    - Linked to that, exercise 3 times a week :o
    - Spend more time with family, including great niece due next month (am wayyyyyy too young to be great aunt )
    - Sort out pension transfer - taking a ridiculous amount of time
    - Continue to meal plan, eat healthily & cheaply (where's the rolling eyes when you need it :(). Had a good start at least on the 1st 2 yesterday, tons of 39p & 49p meals in Morrisons yesterday, have done a freezer list & started a meal plan till Feb pay day
    - No alcohol on 4.5 days a week :o, apart from very special occasions

    Hope all well :)

You like Spain as much as I do!

I cut out the alcohol completely apart from Christmas and the odd night out.

Lucky you, I am green with envy, :D it's so rare to find any whoopsied food around me.

    Well done on your progress.
