Nothing worse than a cold woman Stuart ;)

Mouth hurts, but in a 'you've drilled a hole in my gum, ouch', rather than 'arrrgggghhhhh that hurts'. I think

    OK - update time:

Day 4 in the AF house  :)
    New PJ's arrived & v cosy, and v nice as gifts :)
Car 1 year old tomorrow. Was thinking it was next week as that is when insurance is up, then remembered I had a week's driveaway insurance. Which means breakdown cover runs out at midnight . Just taken out a policy where you pay upfront then claim back, cost was £31.50 :)
    Today's mortgage balance is £140,490.07 :(
Projected balance on 28th (before all mortgage payments come out but with my monthly savings & car repayment into offset £139,802.89 :)
Bit worried about mortgage payments on 1st Dec. Have changed bank account & sent off DD forms but must remember to phone up on 30th & check ok, otherwise I will pay by debit card. Note to self: don't do this in earshot of boss, last time you changed accounts & did this he overheard & thought DD'd had been cancelled as you were in debt :o:(
Due +£60 from MS co but it seems to have gone disappearo, need to email tomorrow if not turned up. :(
Not doing too bad on Xmas pressie front, a few bought at the weekend, really just OH, DD and a few small pressies to get :)
Need to wrap 2 as going away for weekend & taking their girls' pressies with us :)
Did a mystery car job at the weekend which should bring in about £140 :)
Have opened SIPP at HL as have around 10k in frozen moneypurchase scheme. Now, do I put the money in same accounts as OH or do I do proper research this time :rotfl:

    The :) & :rotfl:have it :T

Finally got round to renewing car insurance, £315 including legal aid. As this includes business mileage, 26,000 miles a year and protected no claims I think this is ok :)

Just done a fuel comparison, on 2 sites. Both say we could save £40 odd a year, but this doesn't take into account a discount of £85 per annum so still the cheapest (or at least less dear ) :)

Car park for Dec trip to Spain booked, £26 for 6 days with a few £ cashback so pleased with that :)

    35 sleeps :)

Finished off 1 MS & did & input another so another £14 on its' way :)

But 1 of those was a burger job & chips were v salty, 4 hrs later still thirsty :(

    Today's mortgage balance is £140,469.06 :(

Projected balance on 28th now £139,744.19 (few bits n pieces paid off since last week). Can't wait :)

Day 3 in the AF house :)

    Loads more :) :T

    Hope all are well

  • OH - well done GG you've just reminded me that I need to sort out airport parking for our weekend in Dublin in January. Ridiculolus - we're 11 miles from Stansted yet it's STILL cheaper to take the car than get the bus when there's two of us!

Car insurance V good value - mine would have been due in a fortnight (right before christmas - great timing huh!) but when we got OH's car in August we put both onto a multicar policy then.
