re filling .... go and collect everything into one place (even if it makes the house/room look like a bombs hit it (as my nan would say!
) ...
then go and get a cup of tea (if it takes you past 4pm I reckon you could then legitimately switch to wine..but not if you are filing anything too important!)
then put on some good music that you can work to
then set yourself a time limit at which point you will stop, refill your tea and have a break (possibly with some cake?...)
repeat until done
good luck!!0 -

Ok, an uneasy truce has been called but at the first sign of movement I'm outta here
One overflowing bin & shredder later, some kind of order has been restored. My folder for credit card bills etc managed to spill its' contents 3 times while I was trying to put stuff in it. I didn't find any money or unclaimed expenses (except a 50p car parking ticket for a colleague). Even sorted out some business cards - scary to see how many people have left their jobs in last few years . Tried to work out why I'd had an electricity bill although am on dual fuel & paperless billing - gave up, emailed them & sent meter readings. Took bin downstairs to empty, got distracted so didn't bring it back up, so nice new pile of rubbish on floor :rotfl:. Fixed the bit on the printer which holds printed stuff to stop it falling on floor - has been broken for 6 months
. Put pension stuff away properly - it's been sitting on floor as ebay box was blocking cupboard door
. Did a few on line surveys etc. from till receipts. Have a great big pile of mags to read. Ok, only about 6, but serious reading there. Put some business cards in my purse - corporate hospitality at the races tomorrow
(but OH can't make it, so going with a colleague & I'm driving
) (which is just as well as 2 years ago OH & I ended up in town with a business associate, the 2 of them led a singsong in an Indian at 11pm, then the next morning OH wondered why his mouth was all funny as if he'd eaten something spicy :rotfl:)
Window cleaner here, good job I'm dressed :rotfl:, off to PO with letters etc.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Well, the paperwork has returned , but much more manageable and it is on my TADA list so it will be done
.
Random musings - just paid £85 off bTL mortgage which means I have reduced term by total of 610 days since completion in Sept :T. It's only a 15 year term anyway, which in the scheme of things I know is short, but seems ridiculously long to me - funny how this site changes your mindset
.
Have looked for bargains on mysupermarket, off to Mr T in a minute (ish
). Also hoping to get to library, post office & charity shops so need to get a move on.
Have a good Saturday peeps :jA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Wow, just caught up with your diary - amazing stuff - congrats on the weight loss (I always go to the toilet before standing on the scales!) and on your offset account. Love reading your posts - always plenty happening and brill smileys!
I too need the motivation to tackle my receipts/bills etc, my office looks like 2 bombs went off and my OH is constantly moaning that he can't get to the computer without risking life and limb.....hmmm.....maybe I should add that to my list - I loved the young one's suggestion that if you wait until after 4pm you can have wine whilst doing it!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend
