  • Thanks sparky61 - got one. Also got Entertainment DVD pack, after a lot of discussion in store, for £12.49. Tried to charge full up price at first, but stood my ground and kept insisting that it said £10 off on Internet - so got it. Wouldn't let me have Action DVD pack as well because they said it was only one pack per player purchased.

Very happy with purchase - good starter DVD recorder.

    ;D ;D ;D

  • Hi Guys

I bought one today. Thanks for the tip
I am just setting it up. How do you change the RF so I can watch it through my TV and not scart. (I wont be watching it through TV, just want to have the option to do that)
I only have 2 scart sockets on my tv and 4 items requiring scarts!

    Thanks very much
    Regards

Yes, you chaps and chapesses who love birds' nest wiring ...

TV with two scart sockets ... VCR, Playstation, DVD recorder, digibox. How do you lash it all together?

    Edit: Should have added ...

    VCR (cheapo) one scart
    Digibox TV scart, Video scart

    I just re-read that.

You can tell I'm a techie, can't you?

Had to wait so long on them finding my one that was reserved I was then late for work and only realised as I drove away that by paying at the machine I didn't get a voucher?? :-[

You can't connect this to play via the RF unless you buy an optional RF SCART adapter.

You should be able to loop through your existing equipment if also fitted with 2 SCART sockets. For example if you have a Freeview receiver, then plug the DVD Recorder into that. When the Freeview is switched off you will be able to watch your DVD's.
  • Can the Lite-on be made multi region, is it multi region out of the box or is there no multi-region-ness available?

    Hi ed-lass
Ring the store and tell them. Don't lose out on £10 voucher.

I got one today. It seems really good.

With regards multi-region I think it may be it has played a DVD that my old DVD player wouldn't. Might be wrong though as I'm no expert :):)
