Hi
Does the Argos Sat Nav at £159.99 have the voice on it to tell you the directions?
Actually do all the ones recommended on this post have the voice on it?
I'm useless at looking at the map whilst driving. :eek:0 -
The Garmin i3 has everything you need. If you want a satnav with a 'touchscreen' go for the TomTom 'one' from Argos for £224.0

does this (gamin i3) give indications of cameras etc?
Also are the updates for software free? All that glisters is not gold, except moneysavingexpert.com0 -
is the tomtom one significantly better than the garmin i3? Both have postcode search facility dont they?Happiness is wanting what you have, not having what you want.

in the settings the voice can be changed to british english, but it's more wooden than the americanThere is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.0 -

It has France and Belgium - although I didn't know it when I bought it. I've had mine for about 2 months now and paid £189. At this price it's a right bargain. You can download the speed cameras for free from pocketgps.co.uk. There's been loads posted on the great sat nav hunt thread.
For the price, the Garmin i3 is excellent value for money. I use it daily and have no problems with it. The prices of Sat Navs are coming down, so it depends how much you have to spend.0 -

See my last post for the address to download the cameras. The firmware is free to download here:

You can alos download the 'Points of Interest' (POI) for free from loads of places e.g. football grounds, national Trust, Morrisons...0
