Its not all bad though - we have a good reason for needing the building work to progress - we've going to need to create a nursery by late August :j
And of course we would quite like to enjoy the summer and relax prior to the arrival of new family member. Also I dont want OH being permanently stressed about the builders and their lack of progress.

OMG - how exciting :j, a forum baby :T. We can all be honorary aunts, uncles, nanas. Baby blog, baby blog :rotfl: .

    Thanks!

Not sure whats going to happen with the builders but they've either got to up their game in all respects or leave immediately so we can get someone else in to finish it off.

I'm afraid thats one thing thats not going to happen. OH isn't into things being posted online at the best of times, house was a bit of a stretch and anything baby-related will definitely be a non-starter. Sorry folks - I'll try and give good descriptions though :)

    You're having carpet in there?!
Yep....if things turn nasty might have to replace or reassess! I'm always stumbling or falling over so it's more for my safety when coming out of the shower than anything else. Not ideal i know! Funny how your bathroom took 2 weeks and mine 2 years lol.

    Excellent news ...

But I bet yours cost less Andrew. By all accounts we have good quality gear in there and have had all the plasterring done, electrics for shower and UFH etc! It was just one job that I couldn't bring to being in a building site for months on end as we are both so busy!

Oh OK then - I got carried away with the moment :D. Happy pregnancy to Mrs Latecomer, congrats to you both, and looking forward to baby news as and when.

Now OH's grandad is in A&E hooked upto an ECG machine too..he was sick whilst visiting the hospital and passed out and wasn't responding..came round and chucked up again. Probably all the stress of the situation..though it's happened before when visiting the hospital with Nan as an outpatient last year - then his heart actually stopped, cpr, crash trolley etc...lucky to be in the right place at the right time i guess.

My father-in-law and sister-in-law were already there..but we've now got to swap SIL for MIL so everyone is where they need to be for tomorrow. As SIL's car is at the garage (yep that broke too..as well as their washing machine!) now OH is driving a 120 mile round trip tonight to swap them over having just done a full day's work.

Anyway, putting things back on topic... what colour is that nursery gonna be Latecomer...pink or blue?! Bet you don't fall for it even if you do know!

Goodness Andy, it's all happening at once. This must be so worrying for your family. Hope Grandpa gets on OK. Healing thoughts to all concerned.

I bet Latecomer says "yellow" :rotfl: .
