suiside - the garden looks fab! I love how rooms have to get worse before they get better! Can't wait to see the after pics.

TomsMom - Glad to hear TD is doing OK, hope all goes well this week.

Lisalou - I love the robot hoover, definitely on the wedding list :D!

latecomer - This is surprise, I always thought you were a woman! Glad the roofer is good and sorry about the builders. I'm glad your OH is sorting them out!

Well it's all go at Tart Towers, the roofer is getting the timber done this week for the brickie to finish off at the weekend, then full steam ahead so the roof is finished a week on friday. He is doing slates, timbers, velux, fascias and gutters, its sooo nice not to have to think about these things and pay one person to do everything!!

Once he's finished the windows man is coming the week after and then we need to nail the plasterer down...then the kitchen should be arriving mid-February!!

The bathroom is half tiled, my Dad is the best!

We also ordered the toilet and sink for the downstairs loo yesterday at B&Q. Original cost was £450 for a closet sink and closet toilet (what?! as if people would pay that! although in Wickes it was £700!). We paid £220 including taps, waste etc which I'm happy with.

Going for doors this week too (interior). Just really glad things are moving on fast now, after weeks and weeks of waiting!

There is a 15% voucher at B&Q at the moment to those interested!

Maybe Latecomer is female? Isn't it funny how you just make these assumptions based on nothing! I thought you were female for a little while suiside, I didn't read your name properly and thought it was Susie!!

TomsMom I will definitely send you some pics over!

As exciting as they are here are the toilet and basin. The basin is smaller in real life than it looks there, and both are from the "closet" range.

Exciting stuff, our stuff is below although sink has 2 tap holes!

Yes, people wonder about my name, but I have been a huge VW fan since I was a boy and posted a lot on a great VW site and was part of a 'club' called Suiside VW, a mock on another big club!

ooh we have similar taste in toilets haha!! :D Don't worry about the name, people wonder about mine, its because I like jamtarts nothing else. I didn't even contemplate the tart bit but I do find some people on the forum treat me like a dizzy blonde because of it!

Our newest bathroom items will be getting put with their big brothers and sisters aka "the main bathroom suite" which has been in residence for 13 months! i cant wait to fit it!

When are you hoping for the fitting? I'm so happy not to be doing this job, the mess that Andy was in after ripping the room apart, was apparently not dissimilar from a coal miner!
