Thanks KC - the legs, surprisingly, don't feel as bad as I thought they would, so my aim is for them not to feel any worse! I will drink water though, don't worry!

doodledo - the effects of the decluttering are yet to be seen, but I am sure that all of a sudden I will be amazed at the amount of space that we have!! I just hope that "sudden" comes soon

Lunchtime update - I am getting there.........also went for a walk for an hour and a quarter while Ds was at karate, so that was a bit "extra". Plenty still to do though and the place doesn't look any different because none of the stuff I have done so far is housework related in any way!

Things are getting crossed off the list. Feeling virtuous as I have just pushed the hoover round.

I have hoovered the hall, but that is about it!! I am ploughing through the CDs still - that particular job is taking me far longer than I expected!!!

Online banking done and OH's second job money is in......after making up the shortfall from the first job's wages, I have just paid £400 off the egg loan :j All those extra shifts this month have paid off. November will be a lot quieter so I am making the most of the money while it is coming in! I have kept back enough for a takeaway this evening :D

I have to go to tesco in a while but will be trying to keep it low. I need to take some food to a Christening "do" tomorrow. I have some puff pastry in the freezer so might get some cheese and make some cheese straws. I can take the recycling glass/clothes on my way to tesco and will therefore get another thing off the list.

The ironing will be done while I watch the Saturday night strictly/xfactor fest :D

Hi hypno, well done on the walk and getting so much done.

Was it you who sold a non-working mobile phone on Ebay? My eldest DD cleverly dropped hers in a puddle and left it there all night. I'd like to try selling it but how did you describe yours? I'm worried about someone not reading the description properly and thinking they were buying a working phone!

I don't know yet who I want to watch strictly - too early to make a decision!

Seaxwyn, yes it was me that sold a non working mobile. I described it as "completely dead water damaged mobile phone" and made sure that I repeated in the description the fact that it wasn't working. I think I got a fiver for it which is quite amazing really considering that it was completely useless to us!

Thanks! I will try the same. I'm planning to make the most of Ebay's free listing weekend to get rid of a few bits of junk. Luckily OH has risen to the challenge too and is photographing obsolete disk drives and stuff. If it doesn't sell it can go to the dump.

Good luck with the ebaying - I am afraid I am still going with the "put it in a charity bag" attitude, otherwise I fear I will be keeping this stuff for ever!

Well you've done your time ebaying. I normally take stuff to charity shops as I can't be bothered with the hassle, but at the moment I feel inspired.
