Thank you!!! Seaxwyn I am sure your approach to running is not slack at all! Pania and I have just got to up our game a bit so that we are at least semi prepared for the marathon in April, and given that until this week we had done about 3 runs in 6 months, and none of them more than 2 miles, and none of them without at least some element of walking, I think OUR approach has been slacking somewhat :o

Although I have to admit at being incredibly pleased at going so far today - ok it wasn't overly fast but it was steady and we didn't stop on the way!

Going to grab a shower now then MUST do that mystery shop!

Oh dammit surfbabe, I forgot all about the decluttering! I will find 10 things to get rid of before bedtime........or I might just add them to the 25 things I will get rid of tomorrow :o

Hope you feel better very soon. Any chance of taking it easy over the weekend?

Well not teaching tomorrow (in fact haven;t taught since the 7th which means my money i n November is down by £150 already!) and doing nothing much except sitting in car both days. Have to go back to Doctors on Wed if Laryingitis isn;t much better and they will refer me to ENT specialist. Trouble is - its very hard to teach swimming with no voice !!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Well done on the run thing - it's my next challenge... (see pania for details)

Get those trainers on - running 5 miles when totally unfit is a whole lot easier than understairs-cupboard-clearing

I thought running for a bus would kill me too! This week has thankfully proved otherwise though.......just need to keep it up and up that milage! Ah well, it provides me with a reason not to be doing my housework ;)

    • fill a charity bag
    • sort photos and put in a proper storage box in the loft.

Sounds good, Hypno - a tip on the tired legs tho, which feels nice *and* you can do it sitting down - lymphatic drainage massage - just slightly firm stroking, long strokes that are always upwards towards the centre of the body, to encourage the toxins from exercise (the ones that make us ache) to get out of the muscles and away. It aids recovery - you need to drink water as well as coffee tho.
