Crikey Hypno you are amazing! Here's me dithering over whether or not I can do a 3 mile run after 4 weeks training and you can do a bloomin half marathon! I am in awe.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Remember, Seaxwyn, though, that I have done it before (albeit 15 years ago!) so I have the psychological advantage of knowing I CAN do it. I think that makes a difference. I had little conversations with my Dad on the way round, which helped too - he literally pulled me round a number of races way back when, so it was nice to have that connection :ASuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. What a great achievement especially on such a cold day as well..totally impressed.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Oooooh is there new challenges for 2009?!
I'm seeing people's signatures... Might need to sign up for the £2009 in 2009...
Whatatwit: Adoption would be fun! It was a one off purchase and is it put my credit card in the 4 figurs territory for the first time, and I has have found out to my cost, once the mindset has gone into £1000 debit, it's very hard to shift it!
I didn't tell her the cost but I'm always petrified that she's going to lose it as she wears it out to Watford High Street sometimes!
Today for me has been nursing a hangover. We had the house Christmas party yesterday which involved 15 people getting through 7 bottles of cider and a two litre bottle of cider and then 20 bottles of red wine... All in the name of mulled goodness...
My head doesn't feel so good...:rotfl::beer: Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!
Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!
How do you amass £70k in a year?! :eek:0 -
The fact that it is only November, suggests that you have time for a bit more drinking practice before the REAL house Christmas party.....presumably this was just a (not so) dry runSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground.
