Good luck with the moving today. Just remember where you pack the corkscrew and the kettle and you will be fine. I hope it all goes smoothly for you and that the weather holds out. Look forward to hearing from you when you are settled in and have t'internet again. Good luck xx

We have started the day badly because I overslept and got the kids up late for their paper-round......well, they are just in time, just a bit rushed. We'll be fine!

This morning we are going a bit mad (yeah, what's new?) - DD and DS are running a 5k race for the local children's hospice, and I am going to do the half marathon :rotfl: :rotfl: Notice that I do not say I will RUN the half marathon - but I will complete it somehow (roller skates, anyone?), and will report back later......triumphant in my glory, or exhausted in my madness :o

Hope you all have a good day.......think of me for a couple of hours in the middle of the day.....I need all the positive vibes I can get :D

Oh yes, lucielle, I do stop.........I stop long enough to avoid my housework!!

I am very nervous about running today - it is over 15 years since I last did that sort of distance! I just hope the weather is not too bad, and that I don't make a fool of myself!

You'll be ok Hypno, you've done quite a few runs close to it recently haven't you? and there's always folks that enter that haven't trained or walkers so you'll be fine.

I've done an 8 and a 9 mile, and several 6's over the last 6 weeks, so I have done a reasonable amount, for a beginner. I am hoping to "pick off" those people who are walking the last few miles because they have either gone off too fast, or haven't done enough training......it would be a great boost to me to be able to catch people up and overtake them!!

I did check last year's finishing list to see how many slow people took part before I committed to this year's race! I don't want to be the one at the back that the organisers are following in the truck, picking up the cones and the mile markers :o
