And it has taken you two years to realise that!!! I must have been doing somethin wrong!!
On a sensible note - I have just paid my car tax £210 for the year  but at least it is something I can forget about for another 12 months!
thanks for the reminder, just had to rush about finding disk I'd bought weeks ago - £66 for 6 months and bought 6 months cos it's going down a tenner in april. Yes saving £4!!!! I may take a holiday on my savings.:o

I did mine online this evening, so I will be a few days without a tax disc - but that is easier than trying to find all the paperwork to take to the post office in the morning!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. I did it online too but put the letter to the side for a while, why I didn't just change it as soon as it arrived....

Whilst I feel that I'm putting my local licensing Post Office out of business, I have to agree that the on-line method is soooooo much easier.
I can never find all the relevant bits and pieces and now I can use Mr Twit's debit card so he can pay for his car, where in the past, I'd end up paying.

I never seem to find my documents, no matter how many filing systems I try and have in place! Another by-product of my disorganisation at home I suppose!
So, although it is a shame that the post office doesn't get the business, it really does make a difference to me being able to get my car taxed with less stress

The main point is being able to do the tax thing at ten at night instead of having to take some of my precious flexi at lunchtime and get sent home anyway because the garage forgot to stamp the MOT or similar (actually have new car now so don't need mot but you get the point).Mortgage OP 2026 £860/2000Mortgage balance: £31,763
