Not so good on the knee, shaun, but very good on the van from the charity - what goes around comes around.....you help them out plenty, now it is time to receive help of some kind in return. I hope es feels a bit better today.

    Today my day consists of:
    • mystery shop
    • weightwatchers
    • see a client
    • visit my Nana who I've not seen since Easter.
No running today, but the m/s is at a gym so I will be exercising my weary legs differently.

So, no housework type things on the agenda today - but the m/s and the client are very MSE so that is good enough for me :D

Hope you all have a good day x

  • Sounds like a good plan for today Hypno.

Shaun to get the bullet points you need to be on the Advanced post option and it is one of the icons at the top.

  • Hello to all, my name's goodlife. I don't really post much but am one of hypno's lurkers. I'm trying to make an effort to post more (on long term sick with stress and depression) lurking is nice because I like the idea of having virtual friends - posting seems scary. Anyway that's enough about that.

I plucked up courage to post in response to Shaun's fab photos. Hubby and I want to move to the scottish highlands after dd is grown up (she's 12 now and looking at going to stage/ballet school in London, so to be honest that time could come sooner rather than later).

We (well I) had this idea of buying a bit of land and putting one of those log cabin type thingies on it but Shaun your house pics look fab. Am I right in thinking that planning permission wouldn't be required as they are not classed as a permanent structure? If so then could be a very MSE way of building your own house.

Sorry hypno for hijacking your thread. BTW I never did get back to you - I found a great hypnotherapy course near me but am putting it down as a maybe for next year. In the mean time having great fun learning holistic therapies. Anyone for an ear candling?

    Love to all

    goodlife xx

Ah, that's who he is! I got so excited when some fit bloke said he wanted to be my friend.

    He's very fit, isn't he!
What on earth is your other picture - the one with what looks like the contents of my kitchen cupboards in it?

Thats the Mercury space capsule in a museum in Chicago! If your kitchen cupboards look like that ... I want to live in your house! :rotfl: :rotfl:

hi goodlife!! I would guess that you will still need some sort of permission to put up a building like that, but a quick google would probably answer your question!

My log cabin in my garden would have needed planning permission even though it is not a permanent structure, if it had been built 5 metres or less away from the main house. As it is, it is just over 5m away so no permission needed for us.

As for ear-candling - I do that too!
