Phew! I'm back from another conference and I still get 7 pages of a NEW diary to read!
I was wondering why I wasn't receiving any update emails about your thread and diary! :rotfl:
One slight question, of which I'm sure you haven't looked into yet but made me think...
You said this is the last one of the debts that won't incur a penalty by early payment. So when you hit the next come December this year () will you re-finance them in order to do that or will you start doing some high interest saving and pay the lot off in one go?
I'm doing monthly splurges! Next week, I pay £400 off my credit card...
The week after, another £100...
then that will ensure I go into the Christmas season being able to pay less money and still cover for presents! :j:beer: Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!
Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!
How do you amass £70k in a year?! :eek:0 -
Hi Walshyboy - hope you managed to snaffle lots of freebies from the conference!
Once the "no penalty" loans are paid off, it will be saving up for early redemption of the others, and I will be happy to pay the penalty to be shot of them! The penalties are very reasonable - a month's interest, so not too much to get stressed over.....the hardest bit is the fact that I can't make regular overpayments - I have to either pay the agreed monthly amount, or pay it all off in one go, which is what I will hopefully do!
got a last minute mystery shop for lunchtime - coffee and a salad at a well known coffee chain - whoever said there is no such thing as a free lunch obviously didn't do any mystery shoppingSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground.
