Wednesdays list is up..
I am half dead.. I had a kind of mix and match freezer scraping dinner.. I need to do a big shop for fruit and veg tomorrow.. we have no veg in at all.. I am going to be a bit lazy though and get peas and carrots and suchlike frozen.. it is working out cheaper at the moment!! And I'll go see what is in the reduced bit in the fruit shop after college tomorrow. I am sending hubby to photocopy my notes to pass on to the woman who is giving me a lift.. I don't mind sharing notes with her..
The nail I broke clean off last week I caught in the tesco crates when my delivery came and ripped it off again.. lol.. I can see I'm going to be popular on Friday lol.
I have done half of my assignment which has to be in on the 20th (we got it yesterday) of course it was the easy bit! and I do need to type it up but that won't take long the speed I type.
I am away to find uniforms and I am going to bed... I don't care that hubby is still out salsaing.. I am absolutely exhausted for some reason.. I can't understand it all I ever seem to do is sleep!!!
Can't be faffed to read all the posts in detail but I have skimmed over them.. love and hugs and congrats to everyone.. Lil-me.. very very sad about that poor little man I will be thinking of his parents.. and all the other kiddies who will miss them..
MadC .. I took tumbles with all of mine and one of them I had ridiculously low blood pressure and would faint just for fun willy-nilly I spent more time on my face than I did upright.. lol.. Very resilient little things those babies!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Evening ladies.
Not posting much, trying to read and keep up with you, but i've been busy helping my sister do some of her nursing course stuff - must be great having your own FREE personal science tutorIt scared me as the stuff was quite tricky and she said no-one seemed to really know what the lecturer was on about. I'm glad i can help her through it and be a support to her though.
Other than that, i'm just treading water on the flying. When DH came in yesterday i went to the library (at 7pm) and swapped books, and went to the supermarket, and today i was at sis's house 8:30-nearly 2pm, then came home and sorted DS2, and packed another couple of boxes of kiddie clothes for the loft, and put a load from the airer in the wardrobe, also got a load through the WM, all while dealing with a constipated DS2 who was whinging, and then more pleasant when he had finished. Quite hard to do stuff while playing peekaboo but beggars can't choose. I also managed to run the hoover round downstairs which was last done a fortnight ago.
I then discovered that one of the cats had pee'd in DS2's car seat,  so i had to part strip it off and sit him on a towel to go and pick DS1 up from nursery, and then strip it all off and get it washed this evening. Thank god for your washing powder tip last week. We've decided the cats can only be in the house when we are now. I think it is fat cat as his kidneys are not right, but can't take the risk of something expensive being permanently wrecked. HE's also scratched my wall unit, and is generally not in the good books at the moment. If he has lost bladder control too, it may be kinder to have him put down what with his disabled leg too. I don't like the thought, but with 2 under 2, and Sam about to start crawling/rolling on the floor i have to put the kids first.
from my quick read of the thread
mudbath beautiful doggie
lil-me, sorry to hear about DS2's friend
madc glad you are ok - i tumbled twice while pregnant last time- once almost knocked myself out by slipping on a toy while carrying shopping bags, and hit my forehead on the doorhandle - the 2nd time i fell down the stairs while carrying DS1. I am sure it is your bodies way of saying slow down a bit.
meet up i am up for it in theory, depending on when you decide. I am quite busy that half term week, so a week day would be better for me. all happening here - a wedding down in London where DH is an usher, DS1's 2nd birthday while we are away so a tea party with london rellies, our 3rd wedding anniversary, Ds1 having a birthday party on the other weekend for his playgroup buddies. I personally prefer Tuesdays as then DS1 is at nursery - not that i want rid of him, but he is quite boisterous as 2 year olds are, and needs loads of entertaining at the minute. Possibly i would ask one of my sisters to babysit if we chose a different day. And i am making an assumption we are going for through the day - DH doesn't get in till after 7pm here, so i would also struggle with an evening as the kids need to be in bed, and my boobs need to be near DS2. Sorry to have such a complicated life, and if i don't fit in to majority plans, then please don't stress about including me. There will always be some other time i am sure. The play area sounds good for the younger kids of which we have a few between us, and they would probably play nicely together.
I guess i should try and do a bit more of something this evening, possibly at least hang up the wet washing and the car seat covers - otherwise i will be restricted to walking distance for a while.
Michelle, x
ooh - also just had a thought - i think i must have seen an advert for being on the Jamie oliver programme when i had to go up to the hospital while pregnant with DS2. It was a channel 4 advert asking for families who really couldn't cook to appear on a TV show, DH says we should have applied but i really would have been a fraud. It never mentioned Jamie or i might have done - if he had seen my kitchen he might have believed i couldn't cook.0 -
oooh a meety-up... I might want to come.. it is always chaos here so just let me know what you decide and I'll see if I can make it....LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

... My tax disc arrived today... must take it with me tomorrow.
And for those of you who don't hang out on the gas & elec board
BG CLICK 5 PRICES HAVE GONE UP!!!
Get your meter readings in and if you can't be bothered to go through the full comparison thing, at least go into your Click 5 account and switch to Click 6 (even if you use the miniscule amount I do it will save you money).
Toots - that's the last of the price rises through, so if your new meters are in its time for you to do your maths and find yourself a better deal. Check all the online offers, then call round all the suppliers with the same information asking about elegibility criteria for social tariffs and what the prices are so you can compare. You may need to set up a spreadsheet to do this, as the social tariffs (with the exception of Ebico, which has one tariff) aren't available through comparison sites. Give me a shout if you need any help.
Thank you all for your feedback on the video. Media relations and one of the MDs have now seen it and liked it, so I have no excuses now, and it's gone to my management team for them to decide what to do with it. I have told them that if they decide to publicise it internally I want advance warning so I can take some leaveMy boss said that the opening frame of me with my mouth was the most entertaining thing he'd seen all day (it's fun in my office... honest:rolleyes: ).
Must get off my bottom and get myself sorted for tomorrow now...0 -

Rach was the Jamie thing good - I used to like him but Really did not want to see him preeching again, I prefered him naked.
Just going to do a little bit of family history stuff and then off to bed.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
