I did the livingroom after lunch, then wasted the rest of the afternooon on the internet under the guise of looking for resources (and the one worksheet that I actually printed off doesn't justify the time I spent!)

I have just picked up my car from the garage, so I'm happy again - hate not having my car.

Off to cook dinner - chilli shepherd's tonight, not in the mood for lasagne and salad. I wish the rain would go away, and I'm also cold! I should really buy myself some more clothes suitable for the autumn and winter, but I don't want to until I lose the weight I put on over the summer holiday!

sarah - I'm not keen on sorting out the clean washing either, but loud music, or only allowing the four minutes it takes for the coffee to brew works for me! I use the same method for unpacking shopping into cupboards, which I really don't enjoy much (by the time I've put it from shelf to trolley to conveyor to bags in trolley to car and out again, I'm sick of the sight of it)
It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be
  • Holly - hope you get things sorted tonight
Wilf - congratulations to both DS & SD
Liuhut - well done on getting the job, hope it goes well
Lil_me - ((hugs)) that was sad news for you, I resume he was only a similar age to your DS2? The poor family.
Hope the conference goes well tomorrow.

Off to do a HHC at 6.30 in the hope it will warm me up so time first to see what I should be doing and decide what to cook
Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli

  • Now dont panic - I am not doing a run!!! I lost a huge list of replies when my internet went funny so now I am going to do them in small chunks!!

Thanks dusty - your folder looks very good - will have a play with scrap material first I tihink on an old file! (must remember to save dusty's post)
I had a giggle (sorry) at you playing 'hunt the cheque book' - I cant imagine you being that disorganised - you do your paperwork and your flying so it really sounded funny!!!

Holly hope you get the bullying sorted out - not an easy time for you - serena's advice sounded excellent to me.
Kazwookie hello and take care - keep popping in when you can

    toots xx

  • Boddy - my idea of 1 task a day stems from all you guys helping me get organised with the kitchen table so I am not taking the credit - having made my lists of things to do I now pick 7 for the week - this week I may even manage an extra 1 or 2 but if not at least i will feel I have done something.

  • Mad casey what are you like - we cant leave you on your own for 5 mins - I seem to remember telling you recently to take it easy!!! seriously though I am glad all is well and hope you get over the fall soon - you MUST rest - you reallly dont want me nagging you about it (trust me!!!!)

when is your date again - be sure to keep us informed of any developements wont you??

lil_me hugs for you and the boys and prayers for the little boys family - IMHO I think it would be better if you told then rather than they hear it elsewhere - kids often cope better than we expect them to with things like that.

hope the conference goes according to plan!!
