Well, I found some motivation... of a sort... I remembered that I've got the cable box connected upstairs now. So I retreated to my bedroom, watched last week's Supernanny     while I tidied round and changed the bed linen. Then I sorted through the folded clean clothes putting everything in the various piles for everyone to put away later. (my worst job, I hate sorting out the washing) Does anyone have any tips for making that easier?
Then, I hung all my clothes up. (I don't usually get round to that!) While in my wardrobe I had a major and ruthless cull of my clothes. Finally letting go of things that don't work (ie t-shirts that shrunk, and are now too short, but I only bought them fairly recently, so don't think I should fling them out, even though I don't ever wear them, because they're too short!!!!!)
Then I sorted out my old pj/swimsuits & sarongs/tights/and random presents drawer    Much better now!( I even threw out my 'super-girl' pj's which didn't look good even when it fitted properly! )
So, all in all, pretty productive. :TMMSSB Club Founder Member

Lots to do and working every day this week so hugs to those in need and congrats to Mudbath - Poppy looks lovely.
Pink Fairy - I do indeed work in the nasty parts of HR - sounds like you are caught between a rock and a hard place. Feel free to PM me if I can help with info.
It took me three hours last night but I have finally done my technical drawings for my Interior Design course (and I can't draw at all), tonight I have a stupid amount of things to do for all three of my jobs, plus I got a lead on some Personnel based lecturing work that I need to chase up which would give me 4 jobs. The joys of being a working Mum like you say Triker.
Essential jobs for tonight

Clear up the mess DH made knocking more plaster off the kitchen wall last night. On the positive side once he has finished the room will be a good 3 inches wider - they put plaster board cladding on wooden battons to cover up the dry rot!'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
You might want to check the small print, but I'm pretty sure that's not in the contract that came with the kids!
I meant to say PMSL at that greenbee!!!! I know it... but I keep pretending I can do both!!! But the day I stop trying will be a sad day indeed :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:MMSSB Club Founder Member

Hi
Pigpen enjoy it, you deserve it and make sure you eat something too.
Ds1 is home and the boy is now saying he never had his phone in the first place he just wanted his money:mad: . Ds1 though has just made things worse by telling him he has to give him £20 or he'll call the police:mad: . I've told him he can only get his £2 back off him as if he didn't have it in the first place theres no need for him to give him any money. I think i'm still going to go and see his Dad and try and get to the bottom of it. I very much doubt we will see the phone again.
Hopeing your sons phone is on, why not stand outside the school gate or youth club and ring it~~~~~ and see who reaches in their pocket for it!! (might need to repeat several times till all kids in or out of school / youthclub)
or just ring it any way and see what happens, or have you done that?Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles
