I've got one of those 4 draw jobbies that I have in my kitchen - if I didn't the dogs would be all over it - top draw for plastic, next paper, next food waste bin and bottom one for glass - I just empty into our red plastic recycling bags when full - easy to wash out when the kids just put the tins in with stuff still in them and it leaks everywhere! - This is what I mean - http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/0176587/Trail/searchtext%3ESTORAGE.htm

You're a star...that's exactly what we need! Off to order one now, thankyou xx

    Liuhut, congratulations on new job.
Lil_me good luck with transforming conservatory into tidy office.
Hollyh Hope you get the phone sorted. Pity he hadn’t told you sooner.
    Casey Rest!
Serena Sounds as if you need to borrow pigpen’s pointy stick!

Unfortunately since I live alone I can’t blame anyone else for the clutter in this house

MadC - hugs to you, I hope you're ok. I did the same thing at 17 weeks pregnant and it really shook me up. Just as well these babies are so resiliant. Hugs to you and baby xx

SS and spendless - you're both describing my DH too! He's so untidy that when he can't find things (that i've recycled) I blame it on his mess!!!

Craftyscholar and lil_me - she has massive paws. She's the same size as our old aged puppy and she's only 4 months. She's going to be huge which is why I need to get her well behaved.

Poppy update - she's still not had another accident since Sunday. She was off the lead this morning and kept coming back. I worked this morning and she happily went into her crate and was in the same position when I came home. She stretched and got up, I let her out and we had a nice walk. She's such a good girl. Ok, i'm getting mushy again:rotfl: xx

    Afternoon everyone.

A wet and miserable day here.

Been through to Morpeth today to meet my friend for lunch.

Good to catch up and have a leisurely lunch.

Some of the busineses are still closed after the flooding. Quite a few though have managed to reopen.

Some people will not be back in their houses for a long time and have been found other accomadation.

Tuesday Chuck!- Master Bedroom & Landing
    Level 3
Wipe down all the paintwork.. and the bed frame
Sort through one cupboard/wardrobe/chest of drawers, fling everything that is dead
Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more
    HHI
attack those naughty spider housing estates!!
    Clean windows in these rooms
Sort through the bedding and towels.. are there any that are no longer needed/useable? Did this recently and DD got some extra towels.

hollyh That must have been scary sitting in the car waiting. Plus seeing DS1 at the bus stop. Hope you get the mobile phone sorted out. The lad prob didnt have it and thought it would be a way to get his money off him.

Mudbath Aww she is so cute. Can she have another godmother? I have often wanted to see if I could find someone to let me take their dog for a walk. Its no good me having one as the cat wouldnt like it and I work long hours.

Toots You are brilliant. I like the idea of 7 tasks 1 a day. My one for today is go to the credit union.

wilf55 Congratulations to both SD and DS.

Liuhut Congrats on the new job:T

lil_me Hope DS enjoys the beavers.

Casey Take it easy that was a nasty fall.

    pipen Hugs for your sis.
