Wilf congratulations, awww a diddy one, but Pigpen's right, that's not a bad size for 7 weeks premmy. Hope they're all ok and well done to your DS.
    liuhut well done

Dusty, thanks, I am hoping he enjoys it but wary that cubs, which he will have to move to at some point, is on the same night as swimming and I can imagine it being a logistical nightmare for me, especially if they start/finish at the same time. I need to find out ASAP as I don't want him to start and not be able to 'move on' with it. I have a contact number for the area guy but had no answer so far.

Well todays tidy up day, but starting with the conservatory as we've figured half the stuff thats making the place a mess (like the printer on the ironing board? boxes of paperwork, loose paperwork etc) all belongs in there. I have the big conference on tomorrow so will tr to get as much done as possible. Kids at school, brekkie eaten, dogs walked, washer and dishwasher on so will make a start I think, anyone up for HHC? See you at 10.30am....ish...
One day I might be more organised...........

Well up early today for a very important meeting with my manager's manager, but my DD's has some wired eye infection thing going on so I've got her a docs appointment instead. I've had to take the morning off work. Oops.

Trials of being a working mum.:o

Anyway as I'm a bit stuck on where to start now, wasn't expecting to have any free time. Will have a nosy at the list.:D

    Catch you all later.

Started the kitchen but just having a little drink break so will do my first bit of paperwork of the day whilst here.

    Toots

Lay the file on the piece of fabric cut around leaving at least 2" all the way round. I then zigzaged the fabric - which would fray - but you could use pinking(sp) shears.

Glue the fabric onto the outside - I just put glue all on the spine and round the edges.

Turn over, open the file. Turn each corner in, triange shape and glue down.
Now fold each side in and glue those.
    p_30342750_9181865121.jpg

Finally I oversewed the corners together to hold in place.

    Morning all,

    Congrats Liuhut on the job.

I'm struggling this morning to get going.

Ds1 told me this morning he lost his phone on Thursday at youth club. He then said he went into school on Friday and a kid said i've got your phone give me your dinner money and you can have it back:mad:  . Ds1 gave him the money:eek: and went to his house after school and the kid said he'd lost it. I am fuming. I've told Ds1 to tell him if the phone is not back by 4pm i'm going to his house to get it. Oh no Casey Poor you, how frightening! I did that when I was pregnant with DD2, I twisted myself into a mad position as I fell, baby was fine, I don't think my hip ever recovered!!!

Well, no heavy work for you till you're better then! :naughty: What a great reason to take it easy eating biccies/chocolate/crisps, and drinking tea/coffee/hot chocolate while lying on the sofa watching trashy TV..... Or am I just projecting my fantasy of the perfect day!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Back, loads of junk cleared, a carrier bag of paperwork, all I needed was 4 pieces of paper, crazy how I didn't just bin it in the first place. Recycling bins are getting rather full. Onwards and upwards..........next mission, rehoming more 'lost' items.

Casey big hugs, take it easy x

I tidied up, made bed, dusted and decided to tackle the towels. I know that I last did this job 12 months ago when dd started school, cos me and dh had one of our famous rows about de-cluttering (he is a hoarder and arguments have included why we should keep a glass microwave dish for a broken microwave that is too big for our current microwave and why we should keep every coat-hanger:confused: I recently got rid of a bundle of 0-3 months hangers, our youngest is 5 years old:rolleyes: ).

Anyway I have 11 towels to throw away, and still have adequate number of towels,I know I haven't bought any in past year though mil might have got us some as she is fond of giving practical gifts, but 11:eek: I have sneaky suspicion that hubby put all last years to throw away towels back in cupboard. and I haven't noticed. I did say this room was the messiest.:o

In addition we have 7 kids/character towels. so they can use them for bath-time and leave the 'grown-up' ones for us.
