just a quick question, but is the foordrobe the floor in the wardrobe or the clothes that get left in the bedroom waiting to be sorted?
sorry if its an obvious one!

My floordrobe tends to be the clothes i'm trying on when deciding what to wear that i sling on the floor or bed instesd of putting them away. At the moment i have 3 tops on my bed that if i'm good i'll put away or if i'm bad will go on the floor.

I pesonally do not have a floordrobe - but DS and on occasion DD do!
I deal with DS's by picking up anything vaguely clean and returning it to wardbobe/drawer to be reworn. Mind you I do that with what they have put in the wash when the little [strike]horrors[/strike]darlings have worn it for half and hour, put it on the floor then put it in the wash because they can't be bothered to hang it up or put it away...worn once DOES NOT equal dirty!

Sorry full of typos but it has been along day and I am tired it was parents evening and we overrran again...

BTW AnWs mum mine are 15 - can stay here or wander round meadowhall on own and 12 can come and collect coffee and cake and whatever...
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

    Lil_me - hugs to you.

I keep meaning to say, and Valli's parent's evening post reminded me - I asked for advice regarding son not working at school. His teacher kept in for one break time and since then he's worked really hard. He's even gone up to his room tonight and drawn a skeleton for school and labelled it and it wasn't even homework! Yeahhhh!!!!

Hugs to everyone who needs it.

Poppy update - she just asked to go outside and had a wee and a poo!!!!! xx

    evening all,

I've only been sat down about half an hour, mainly reading the thread whilst having half an eye & ear on the tv...

Crazy day for me, started with a horrendous journey (left home early and got into work late!), signalling probs, why they don't tell you before you get on the train I don't know, could've gone a different route! Oh well, improved later as we interviewed and appointed an admin assistant at work - only one day a week but will make a big difference.

DH had started dinner which I finished, then popped to in laws for FiL to countersign CRB form (he's the minister) as I'm going to help with Girls' Brigade sometimes, which DH's mum runs. Since then I've washed up, S&Sd the kitchen, done tomorrow's lunches, prepped dinner for tomorrow and flopped! Was gonna have a bath but just can't be bothered! So no list for me today, will wait til tomorrow!

    Liuhut & wilf55 – congrats

OMG I’m watching Jamie’s ministry of food…where are we going wrong if people don’t learn basic life skills

Lil_me – have you looked on the scout website? Think there’s contact details of some local groups on there. Good luck tomorrow

Madcasey – take it easy, I fell down the stairs recently and it really shook me up – and I’m not even pregnant.

Spendless – don’t throw the towels, your local homeless shelter will be glad of them

AnW – hope you had a great night out

Sarahs – I hate sorting washing too, and there’s only 2 of us…come to that I hated it when I lived on my own!

Greenbee – 42 weeks overdue makes me feel better! Though I’ve not been in the job for 42 weeks yet so there’s time…

Kazm – hugs, was just wondering if you were ok!
