  • Good morning everyone! oops just realised it's afternoon already!!
Managed some good flying this morning and have tackled both upstairs bathrooms and the cloakroom! And used limelite to tackle the water stains in the shower - it's been bothering me for a couple of weeks so have now got it looking much nicer! Taps and basins all shiny and the bath too!! 2 loads of washing done and on the line - it's nice and blowy here today if a little cold!! About to put some dough on for the pizza for tonight, have acquired some apples so will make a nice pud to go with the roast tomorrow. Want to try the custard cookies too whilst I've got the oven on.Haven 't caught up with the thread yet but hope you are all well and enjoying the weekend. Hugs to all.

    I'm in too!

I'm now clean, and so are the bath, tiles, shower curtain & taps!

Freezer nearly done, but steamer is dead, so will have to boil the kettle to get the last of it done.

Looks like I need to spend my HHC finishing the bathroom and trying to make further progress with the study.

Boddy - my hifi is dead too... it works, but only VERY quietly. Looks like i'll need to replace it

  • Woohoo Mr CS is home for the weekend and he is learning to fly too. Resistance is futile. He has:
Cleaned up the dog poo off the grass
    Mowed the lawn
    Emptied the dishwasher
    Wiped the worktops
    Whinged a bit

    I have:
Sorted out 2 carrier bags full of stuff we don't need
    1 load of washing
Put clean towels in the bathroom and put the others for washing

Our daughter has tidied her desk
    Watered the house plants

Thank you all for your encouragement. I am really enjoying this. Tonight we will be able to relax in relative tidiness and watch X Factor without thinking about what jobs we should have done.

Hello, from a very pretty but windy seaside, the sea looks so nice at the mo with all the big waves but wow it's windy. My awnings come down while we were home, luckily we have made friends here who put it back up as it wass reported but noone phoned me, will shout at the office later! Think I'll have to get DP to come up tomorrow to take it down as it's put a couple of little dents in the side of the caravan too, I don't want it causing any more damage & it's only used for storage on a weekend. Such a change to last week when it was very sunny and really warm. :) not compromising on heating here tho as it's included it's on, boys are snuggly in their sleeping bags watching tele.

Going swimming soon then studying time, must do at least 1 hr before dinner.
One day I might be more organised...........

Sorry Pigpen couldn't make it round yesterday....had a helluva day at work had no spare time sorrreeeeeeeee.:o:D x

No worries.. I got a curtain hemmed instead.. and the 2 front rooms vac'd and the stairs.

Hazel appears to be ok this morning (thanks to everyone who asked!).. I think a lot of it was just that she was full of air after the op.. anyone who has had open tummy surgery will know how that feels! Plus the effects of the anaesthetic.. but she is sleeping under DD3's bed at the moment so I've not seen her but I will check her over when she comes down.. She usually sleeps all morning and half the afternoon

  • Oh lil_me, I feel for you. We were caravanning in August when one of our neighbours awnings blew upwards. It was too dangerous for anyone to even try to rescue it because there were poles and spikes flying everywhere. Within seconds it was wrecked. We went out and bought more straps to anchor ours down.

This afternoon I am going to clean the rabbits out. Mr CS is going to clean the box room window. Baby steps eh?

    Hi

    In my HHC i

Saved the washing off the line from the rain
Put it and the stuff from the wm on the airer
Sorted out my airing cupboard and can get rid of 2 duvet covers and a huge pile of cot sheets. It's all nice and tidy in there now.

I'm going to do another HHC 1.45-2.15 if anyone wants to join me.
