    Hey Pigpenhia.gif
thanx.giffor the update on Hazel - I was wondering how she was...although I have had 2 cats spayed I can't remember either of them suffering from wind so I was worried...I adore cats...I like doggies too but am not in a doggy keeping situation...

I have had 3 spayed before and never had a problem before either but this one is only about 14 weeks so very little and might have had a bit of extra pushing and shoving about.

She is awake and eating now and walking fine and no doubt will go off, poo, and then bound all over again..

    Hi everyone

Just caught up with you all. Called in home to get changed and the went straight out to line dancing last night, I was disappointed with it TBH. When we got there it was obvious that there were 'professionals' there, no problem with that but they obviously did not like us amateurs trying to join in. Bearing in mind it was a fund raiser for cubs/scouts I got really p*ssed off when one of the organisers asked all the children to dance either at the back or the very front as they were getting in the way of those that wanted to dance  Any way lifes too short and all that.....

W had a rough night, woke up in themiddle of the night with earache and a sore throat, calpoled him and he slept through. This morning he seemed a bit better but had one bite of andwich (as he calls them) an a sip of juice and promptly threw up :( he has been sat sunggled on me and is currently back in bed having taken himself back there. Mum took Miss A for her swimming lesson this morning.

Toots loving the men bashing jokes :D Hugs all round for everyone.

  • Hi all, sorry not started you all off but sure you managed...

had an unexpected visitor at 5 to 1 so didn't get started till about 1.30... in my new HHC I vacummed the hall, kitchen and lounge, then mopped and wiped the same... dog hair gets EVERYWHERE! also had to dust the hall table again (only did it yesterday) as I could write my name in it - Think they need a bath, but it's sooo hard as Toby is sooo big... this is a photo of him when he was only a year old - he's nearly 2 now and puts his front paws on my sholders when he stands up!

Hazel appears to be ok this morning (thanks to everyone who asked!).. I think a lot of it was just that she was full of air after the op.. anyone who has had open tummy surgery will know how that feels! Plus the effects of the anaesthetic.. but she is sleeping under DD3's bed at the moment so I've not seen her but I will check her over when she comes down.. She usually sleeps all morning and half the afternoon

Glad to hear Hazel is OK Pigpen, I know what you mean, I was burping for about a week after (could be very embarrasing when at work, didn't care at home :D )

Right, off out now to get some dog food (get a great sack at a time) and some terrapin food - see you all when I get back... :hello:

    I have now:

Sorted the rubbish from my study into recycling and confidential (the latter goes back to work for destruction)
Cleared my desk, wiped it, emptied the keyboard of crumbs :o put a pile of stuff in my in-tray to go through
Cleaned the downstairs loo and basin
Cleaned the bathroom basin & mirror
    Swept kitchen floor
Opened my bank statement, looked at it, ignored it, filed it... I've tried doing spending spreadsheets, but its just too much like hard work :o I think I've over-estimated the amount I can afford to save each month, so need to reduce this especially as I plan to up my mortgage payment to reduce the term to 10.5 years.

Freezer is NEARLY ready to be dried and repacked. I'll make the list as I put stuff back in.
