Morning ladies hope all are well.

Overslept and was woken by the door bell - ebayer collection - but Needed to get up as it was 9:30

Just 2 bits to do for NCT.

OH dispatched to the garage as my car died last night so had to call the RAC to start it to get me and DS2 home from Judo. The guy (who was great) said it needs a new battery so sent OH this morning.

Puddle on kitchen floor from WM this morning - OH think there was sock in the seal which caused it - I hope so as this could be an expensive month although I am sure it is still under extended warrenty.

Won't be doing a lot today as DH wants to go shopping into Sittingbourne today, so my list won't have too many more strikes off today. Shall catch up tomorrow

Minging Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
Level One
[strike]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces[/strike]
Level Two
Sweep and mop floors
[strike]Clean the oven & hob[/strike]
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc ..
Choose one small appliance to clean thoroughly..
Clean door fronts and insides & fronts of appliances.. don't forget those kick boards..
[strike]Defrost the freezer.. clean it out and make use of those things which need using..can't do this one as the ice is the only thing keeping the freezer together. Anyway it's on it's last call as we are getting a new one when the kitchen is done this month [/strike]
Extra Mission : help yourself

1. [strike]clean the fridge..[/strike]
2. Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
3. 33 fling boogie..
4. Phone someone you love just to tell them so!!
5. [strike]Empty the bin.. wash it out.. and make it smell SWEET[/strike]

Tuesday Chuck!- Master Bedroom & Landing
Level 1
[strike]Check fire alarms are working
Remove and wash bed linen and duvet covers
Fling open the window and let in the draughts![/strike]
Level 2
Make any appointments you have been putting off and catch up on phone calls you need to make!
Vacuum & turn mattress before replacing with fresh linen..
[strike]Air the duvet[/strike]
[strike]15 minutes floordrobe clearance[/strike]
Level 3
Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing
Wipe down all the paintwork.. and the bed frame
Sort through one cupboard/wardrobe/chest of drawers, fling everything that is dead
Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more

Wednesday Wobbles - Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Level 1
Vacuum through the living room, hall and stairs
Level 2
Dusting, even if around everything - this is a no win situation as hubby is decorating at the moment and there is dust everywhere..:(
[strike]Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe [/strike]
Clean windows and all glass.. including the tv screen
Clear a drawer .. any drawer
Level 3
[strike]Wipe and water plants[/strike]
Put all your hotspots in one pile and work your way through it..
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
Extra Mission: Pick one or more of the following tasks –

1. Sort out handbags and winter coats.. do any need replacing now?
2. Wipe down any paintwork that needs it.
3. Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!!
4. [strike]Wash any cushions, throws or curtains that need [/strike]

Thursday Thingummies- those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms
Level One
[strike]Clear away anything that isn't in it's place, clothes, toys, books etc [/strike]
Make an appointment for some ME-time.. hairdressers? manicure? night out with friends? .. whatever just do it!
Level Two
Vacuum the floor
Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!! Don’t forget the light shade and curtain pole!!!
[strike]Strip beds, turn and vacuum mattresses!! and replace with fresh linen .. check if duvets need freshening up too!! [/strike]
Level Three
Clean 2 windows
Sort through a cupboard/chest of drawers and get the clothes out which are no longer wearable, too small or out of season!
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors
Extra Task List

1. Find 5 things to ebay/freecycle
2. Wipe the radiators, skirtings and window & door frames!
3. HHI
4. Mid week fling!! grab a binbag and fill it with stuff to leave the house.. rubbish or charity shop or to donate to a friend!

Friday fuss- Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
Level One
Clean floors in these rooms
Level Two
[strike]Clean baths, toilets, don't forget the outside! and sinks.. shine the taps with a toothbrush [/strike]
Clear any clutter from desk
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!! and polish the printer!
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
Level Three
Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains etc
Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. defragment your pc while doing this.
[strike]Drag out the pc desk if you are able and clean under and behind it! [/strike]
Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
[strike]Collect all the dirty laundry [/strike]
Extra mission: Take your pick!

1. Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
2. Arrange any services that need doing on fires/boiler before you put them on!!
3. [strike]Delete 50 unwanted emails! [/strike]
4. Fill a binbag for charity shop

Weekend list

This is not compulsory but is a chance for the whole family to work together to achieve a beautiful home. You do not have to join in if you don't want to.. unlike the Mon-Fri list which I come and chase you with my slipper if you don't keep up.

1. Clean a messy room to level 3
2. Bake some biscuits!
3. [strike]Clean out any pets- gave them all a brush [/strike]
   
4. HHI
5. [strike]Put the heating on for an hour just to make sure all is working well.. if not.. panic! [/strike]
6. Wash any bedding that hasn't been done this week
7. Check the christmas wrapping paper see if you need more.. and do you need any cards this year?
8. Do we need the winter bedding out yet?? and the throws and fleeces
9. Take half hour just for yourself.. go relax in the bath.. send the children to bed half an hour early lol.. whatever you fancy.. time off is prescribed!
10. CLEAR YOUR DESK OF DETRITUS!! wipe it.. and get some of that junk filed.. we should be on top of this now!!!

Write letter to Dream Cottages re. library book left behind in cottage..(totally different book). Looks like it hasn't been left behind after all. Can't find it anywhere in the house though, think it might have gone back and not been swiped properly.

My M.A.C.A.W challenge this week is..............make sure all dishes are washed up, sink and drainer wiped down before going to bed each night.[strike]Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday[/strike][strike] and Friday[/strike]

Also to have breakfast every morning - No breakfast Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Had breakfast Friday though

... I now know how cold my house is... I discovered some butter in one of the shopping bags I was unpacking. It's been there since last night and isn't even soft :rotfl:At least that means all the frozen stuff should be OK, although I'll need to use the steamer to defrost the freezer :rolleyes:

Yes, but he'll be rushing around and keeping warm! He won't even notice the cold. Just be grateful he wants to go out and play in the fresh air, as I'm sure in a few years' time you'll be dragging him away from the TV/computer trying to get him to go outside.

I've now sorted the airing cupboard and put lots of stuff away, put the water on boost (seeing as I'd used it for washing up) and am now going to have a shower before tackling the next bit of the list.

Right, still have a big list to do, although have tided the front room this morning still have to clean it - going for a shower now as I really did need that sleep - didn't get up till 11.30am :eek: - so am very behind.

Was going to go finish the shopping, but nothing drastic needed so am going to leave it till monday... right onwards and upwards...

Anyone for a HHC at 1pm?

Morning everyone.

Its freezing here today. I made a quick dash out to the shops and to the cobblers. Put the fire on for an hour when I came in. Now sitting wrapped in a fleece rug.

Got one for my DD this morning as a CH.........s present. They were half price.

My hifi isnt working:mad: have changed the fuse but still no joy.

Dont plan a lot of flying today just a wee bit.

Looks like Jake has gone walk about again.

Shopping done
Shoes mended.
Ordered GS2s DVD.
