Haven't gone tonight, going in the morning, too much laundry etc to do first and had forgot to wash some stuff I needed. Anyway I have no painkillers either so will get some in the morning then drive through, makes little difference as we'd only be sleeping/they would be playing up tonight. If I can get there about 10am it'll be no different to staying there, go straight in the pool.
I'm sat here furious, they have changed where the exams are, they are now in a hotel which has 'limited' parking then the seriously expensive one next to it (it'd be £15 just for how long the exam is) It says 'we're encouraging all students to use public transport' well we can't get the boys dropped off on time to get there with public transport and I don't fancy spending 3 hours travelling to get to an exam if I could. Going to phone them on Monday, see what they say.
I'm feeling rather grumpy, can you tell :rotfl: anyway with staying home washer load 2 is in and have pulled out the sofas, removed what was under them (just about anything you could imagine) and cleaned under them. DW is loaded, bit of space left so that can wait, DPs food is made for the weekend.
I have to agree £15 is extorionate(sp) for parking and its all very well saying they want people to use public transport that only works if there are bus routes that run nearby!!!
Take out your wrath on the cleaning jobs and tomorrow you will have a more relaxed day knowing the extras you have done tonight.

deniseflower - I may take you up on the offer - I just need a bit of encouragement to get on and finish as I have several half done rooms. I was admiring the photo of your bedroom that you had a few weeks back. My bedroom is decorated but just looks very bare. I don't like mass produced stuff, but it takes so long to find more individual and 'personal' stuff!
No problem Serena - I love doing it so it would be fun.
If you're looking for personal, have you thought of making your own? You can get some really nice stuff about at the mo then jazz it up with bits and pieces - we do that a lot especially when we can't find a colour match - for instance, add a band of really nice fabric to a plain cushion, maybe pleat it, add some detail or something, to bring in a colour you need, or get some canvasses and paint them in the colours to match your room - we just use tester pots for this - you can use masking tape for lines, splash paint on, let it run, paint freehand, etc,... just look at some examples in catalogues, magazines, etc for inspiration.
Dunelm Mills is a great place for accessories at brilliant prices (also do great canvasses if you want to paint your own) and another great place is TKMaxx - loads of individual stuff at reasonable prices - be careful in there though - they don't get more in, so if you need two lamps get them then and there or you won't be able to get them again!LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -

We are all glasshoppers to the mighty pigpen master! Only I'm not getting dragons (or pigs for that matter) burnt into my arms when I pick up a hot pot with my bare forearms - even if it means having a clean and tidy house...:rotfl:LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -

We've had high teens - were expecting 23ºC today, but don't think it's reached quite that high. And MIL is doing really well - thanks for asking. She is walking with a walking stick and seems to be dealing with it all really, really well. I have to say she has amazed us!
