Shambolic scenes at PizzaHut last night.

I used my voucher at the Trafford Centre branch last Friday night and had a lovely meal.
I have been to Pizza Hut before and wasn't overly impressed, but this time i couldn't fault them. The food was lovely, we didn't have to wait too long even though it was busy, and our waitress certainly gave service with a smile!

Ive used the vouchers twicw now at Scarborough Pizza Hut, the food has always been great and the service terrific, sometimes too over powering i think, 'Hi, my name is Jane and blar blar blar.....' but i think they do that for a bigger tip!
Never been asked for ID, seated and eated and payed the bill within a hour Salad counter has always been full and never had to ask for a refill, it just appears.
My son used his voucher in Leeds twice and never had problems, Also the one in Monks Cross, York has also been nice, but can be very busy during the weekend.
So there are nice Huts out there, 10/10 from me.All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.0 -
I put in my complaint to Pizza Hut last week and they haven't even had the decency to acknowledge it! Why doesn't that surprise me. Doesn't say much about their customer service!0

we used this voucher a few weeks back at inverness and was appalled at the serive, we were seated as soon as we got in, wasnt busy, took our orders but took 30 mins just to get our drinks, one of the meals ordered didnt come, they had thought we had something else so got the wrong meal, they had run out of the pizza we wanted, didnt get plates for out pizza, table hadnt been wiped, asked for refills but drinks didnt come, dh had to go up and ask where they were.
they have gone really downhill and will never go back, dh refused to complain as well!!0 -
hi
swings and roundabouts i think, we used our voucher a few weeks ago now, with no problems, did not even have to show id.
must admit though the service was not very good. personally i fing pizza hut expensive for what it is, i prefer frankies and bennies but we wanted to get our 50% off.

Having mystery shopped PH I can confirm they are supposed to tell you their names and are suppossed to offer (and provide!) refills. I don't bother to MS there anymore because although the food was free the quality just wasn't worth it.0

I was able to use my 50% off voucher with no problems at all last weekend.
The service and food was brilliant considering they were full. We only waited 20 mins for the food and our waiter was very pleasent.
We have been before and have never had any problems and would go again in the future.

Then when the food was ordered it took 25 minutes for drinks to come out and the starters 45 minutes later.
The service was very poor with only 2-3 waiters. By this time other groups and couples were getting pi**ed off and when food came out people started cheering and clapping.
To make things worse, when the bill came the manager refused the voucher saying that he wanted to see some ID.
My wife showed him her NI card, child benefit book and credit cards but he still refused saying he wanted to see some picture ID.
During this a few couples walked out without paying because of the poor service which prompted the manager to call security.
They came and just stood there not interrupting but just watched the fun.
My wife then called me and explained the situation and because of this I had to take a taxi with her passport to the PizzaHut to give him picture proof.
***BE WARNED*** make sure you take picture ID if you wish to use the 50% voucher.
Obviously, I will be writing to Head Office to complain.
oh dear this sounds exactly like my aberdeen experience was it aberdeen! service was shocking only 2 waiters and manager refused to take my voucher saying it had been photocopied cause i printed it in black and white0 -
No it was in Bradford at the Leisure Exchange.
By the way I wrote to PizzaHut about the experience on 30th September.
No acknowledgement or response yet...still waiting0
