Rosebys in Maidenhead now has 'Closing Today' signs in the window.

They have all curtains at £10 and 50% off poles, nets and a few other bits. Not that much left in stock, but it's saying it all has to go.

Traceyburt - It wasn't really your post I was objecting to, tbh it was most of the other posts (especially about the price and quality) that have upset me and it seems a few others on here as well. And I totally understand about people going to dunelm because in some places the rosebys are actually tiny and don't offer as much choice of range as our competitors

rishishah - yes I understand that price is important but would you be happy to have a butcher to perform surgery on you. to further illustrate my point, no other stores that I know of would tell you that for under an eight year old child you should not use above 10.5 tog quilt as it can lead to febrile fitting (sorry about spelling) and be fatal (and if you saw GMTV yesterday morning they had an artical about sudden death in infants you'll understand how important it is for children not to overheat). The staff at rosebys will refuse to sell higher tog quilts when we ask the question what age is the person you're buying the quilt for and the answer is for an under eight year old! so how can you say that price is more important than the training of the staff.

Was looking at them before but would never dream of paying the full price.

Rosebys have sales on vases now down to £2 and curtains are really cheap.

i work at head office myself in IT and its awful there at the moment ! Things just keep getting worse and plus we are always around the administrators, going to be sad to loose my job but what can you do. Anyway good luck to those that work in shops i might have even spoke to you on the phone before!
