Finally, I can see you crystal clear0 -
Isn't going to work with a SPECIFIC Ipod dock, if the dock has a 3.5mm stereo connector, then yes it will work.0

When you purchase the 4gb mp3 with video for £17.49 you can get this docking station http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/catalogId/1500001151/partNumber/5346343.htm
for half price at £19.99.
So both docking station and mp3 player for £37.48. A bargain if you ask me.:T:A Totally addicted to MSE :A0 -
I dont know how good the docking station is for sound though...???:A Totally addicted to MSE :A0

It is tempting, but the reviews here seem rather negative. I'm not sure if it's the 100% same player, but it looks to be similar, and it's certainly a Wharfedale Mp3 that's being reviewed. Not the same capacity, but it is also slimline. EDIT: Scratch that, it's not quite the same model, the screen on that one's a bit smaller. But given it's a Wharfedale too, I hope it's not an indicator of quality.
EDIT: In particular, one review also mentions the headphone socket being non standard. I think if I do reserve one of these, I'll look at it first, and if the socket is not standard size, sod it. I think I'll steer clear of the £5.99 extended guarantee though..0 -
Wharfedale seems to be Argos' own brand like Matsui and Currys/Dixons. Chances are the quality won't be fantastic, but they sound good value for money, especially if you don't want to worry about breaking/losing an expensive mp3 player. Nice spot OP.0
