Glad the dinner crisis has been averted Jacks.
Went shopping tonight, OH suddenly realised that we had no food left for dinners from tomorrow!
£50 spent, thou £30 of that was on alcohol! (3 bottles of wine for £10 plus 3 crates of beer for £20) The wine is all earmarked for xmas pressys and the beer is for us, we don't drink much at all so it should last us well past xmas.
The food is in my budget so I don't count that, just the £15 each on alcohol. Not going to make my NSD target, but going to try to keep going, I don't want to get into the 'sod it I've blown it might as well spend' frame of mind!!

Pleased to say I had another NSD today..... did weekly food shop (only inc top-up shops in this challenge) but otherwise spent nothing today
Aiming for another NSD tomorrow too.... I think I'm actually starting to get the hang of this!'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0 -
Whoo so far 4 NSD (started my month from payday - 23rd). But today I did plan to treat myself to a nice coffee as I have a reflection session and sometimes need a little motivation! But I'm hoping my good habits will last to the end of the month and i'll get my 15NSDs in.
I know Saturday will be a spending day as am going on a "booze cruise" for mum-in-laws birthday. So will need lunch etc. But have promised that we are not spending any dosh on booze! Hopefully we'll stick to it!

Well there's no way I can reach my target now and the only day I can see being an NSD is friday but I'll wait till then until I fully declare. I am a bit disappointed to not have reached my target for this month but looking on the bright side, my spend days on the whole have been very low spends. Just pence sometimes when all I've needed is milk. Also I 've had a week off work and it's the school holidays which is never money saving is it!!!
Well done everyone !!Initial Debt July 2020 - £6,772.80
Debt now Jan 2021 - £6,208.21
Overpayment pot - £00 -
NSD 5 for me :-)
I really didn't think I'd reach my target. I know it seems pathetically small compared to some people's targets but it's been a real achievement for me. I'm really chuffed with myself.
Now to aim for 6 in November!Debt free since December 2015. It can be done0 -
