  • *** Peeps round the door shamefacedly.....****

Hey guys - haven't been here for a while, since my spend days kind of took over! Once I fell off the wagon it was just impossible to get back on!

I had an NSD yesterday, but since that only takes me to 10, there's no way I'll reach my target of 20! Still really glad I did at least half the challenge though, because my finances are now the healthiest they've been in god knows how long!! :j

I'll aim for 2 more NSD's before the end of the month, and I'll set my challenge for next month when I see what my final total ends up as for October! - Thanks lilmissmup for running this challenge - and a big thank-you to Jacks for taking on next months!

Well done to all of you who have much more willpower than I do!! If chocolate's the reward next month - Ill defo make sure I hit my target!! ;)

Have a great day to everyone!

    xx

*Ponders* Hmmm, How hard can it be to send chocolate via an internet connection? :rotfl:

We may have to settle for virtual choccy!

I'm in a bit of a NSD panic.

My son is bringing his new Girlfriend home for tea tonight and we're at the stage in the month where my meals start to be called things like *Insert food stuff here* "Surprise" because I haven't planned as well as I thought and I have to serve up all kinds of random combinations cos that's what I have left!

I kind of feel that should dish up something more conventional on her first visit... perhaps? :o

    We'll see!

    Love Jacks xxx :D

    Oh bless you honey, :T

I've just updated the (already scarily busy  ) November thread and now I'm off to inventory the cupboards and see if I can cobble together anything even remotely normal to eat!

At least I'm off today, which makes it a bit easier!

PS I've just seen that my son has sent me an email "casually" asking what we're having - which means he's just remembered what stage of the month we're at! :rotfl:

2 to go... 4 days to do it in, how hard can that be? :D rb6ac... you're the same as me... good luck! :)
Good luck NZ! :j Today won't be an NSD for me as I need to buy a card and a stamp for a friend's birthday and need to catch a bus home too.
  • A NSD yesterday and today. Hopefully will be easier next month as no half term to take into account.

I don't know whether to be peed off or relieved!

I arranged to have a milkman delivery again after years of buying milk and bread as and when we needed it because I thought it would help keep me out of the shops. (Cos you never *just* buy bread and milk do you? :D )

And I thought it was meant to start today but nothing arrived this morning so I thought "Oh well it'll all come tomorrow I expect."

Well It just arrived about an hour or so ago! Milk, bread, and the mince, bacon eggs & sausages etc that I ordered as well.

So the good news is that I can cook something "normal" tonight now that i have meat without going shopping...

But the bad news is that all my food will be left on my door in the middle of the day until we come home from work and school every day!

I'm not sure that's going to work!

    Love Jacks xxx :D

PS It's 20/22 on day 28 for me! So 3 days to go and 2 NSDs required to hit my target.
    Gulp!

AAAggghhh you've reminded me I think I might have to buy stamps as well. Better do it by the end of the day as I've already spent today :)

If I manage NSDs on Wednesday and Thursday and therefore reach my target, I'm going to pig out on chocolate (virtual chocolate?) on Friday!
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.

Sounds like it'd be a bit more gentle on the waistline too! :j Glad your food crises was easily sorted! My friend has organic veg delivered to her which always arrives when she's at work, she got herself a plastic box with a lid on it, which she leaves at the side of the house, and told the company to put the stuff in there - think she also put some kind of foil in it to stop it spoiling through the day! Might be worth looking into if it helps in the overall no spending! ;)

    Have a good night everyone!!
