A Great Boots Deal Hurry

Went shopping the other day, managed to get the gift bags and the 3 for 2 on sets. Intotal over 3 transactions including advantage point machine vouchers and a double points coupon i had myself i spent.

£108 saved £53 in multibuys etc and got £32 points on my card.!!!!

Went to do the same today printed off coupons etc got to the till and my card was gone!! Think in my excitement i left it in the machine!! Called advantage card immediately and they cancelled the card and will transfer points to new one! God job really had got £86 on it and i was looking forward to spending it on me!!!

OMG!! That must have been a shock. I've got neurotic about my card now and keep checking it's in my purse. It has nearly £125 on it and I'm looking forward to the sales

I got the 3 free bags today, fab deal to pay £30 and get £135 worth of stuff!

Yay I got the deal!!!

I got two nail sets and one lip gloss set and three free bags! I used one voucher from one of the bags as well as a love to shop voucher and two boots vouchers all from pigsback. I paid £15 in total for £135 worth of things, brill!!

I put the basket on the floor and passed the items in the order the OP stated and it worked a treat! The girl at the till did say that if I had a bag for each gift then they would have to go through as seperate transactions, I said "oh I did it all in one in another store and it worked fine" and she said "ok then i'll try". Lucky me!! Thanks guys.

got the deal today in stockton with triple points!!!fab but couldnt get the £30 spend points as both advantage machines broken...still very happy with the 600 odd points i did get thanks OP :T

I tried in in my local Bromsgrove Boots today, but the Sales Assistant on the make up counter was watching me put the free Gift bags in my basket (I had 3 £15 Make up sets in basket already) and she stated straight away - before I had even opened my mouth.
' you can't combine the 3 for 2 offer with the free gift bags - it is one or the other!'
I guess they have had lots of people doing this (Mainly thanks to this site), well anyway I thought I would try it at the other checkout and low and behold whilst waiting in the queue the Make up assistant came up to me and said ' I will serve you over at the make up counter, to save you waiting!!!'
I was too embarrassed to refuse. She said she would have to put them through as seperate transactions (£15 make up set + 1 free gift set).
I did say I didn't really want to use my credit card for 3 seperate transactions, but she was most insistent this was the only way.
I might take my items back for a refund and try at a more helpful branch of Boots.

Hi there,

Am new to this as have just got the hang of the whole Tesco thing and am keen to branch out now! Can anyone help me with the basics please?

1. I do not have an advantage card- can I get a temporary one in boots?
2. Where do you get the vouchers from?
3. Are advantage points only to be used in boots?
4. How are the points accumulated and what are they worth?

Finally, anyone had any luck in Portsmouth area?
