A Great Boots Deal Hurry

i think something similiar might be on here already but i wanted to put it on here again for visibility also in addition my way shows you how to get 3 bags instead of the 2 i think some people have been getting plus £6 back in points

thought i would share this great deal which i suspected would work but you must do in this order -

boots currently have 3 for 2 on no 7 gift sets (there are ones that cost £15) but you also get a free bag with £30 worth of goods if you spend £15 or more on no 7. Now you could simply have 3 separate transactions to get 3 bags but you would miss out on the 3 for 2 so heres how to do it

buy 3 no 7 items at £15 and get 3 bags

now make sure the assistant put thems through in this order

no 7 item then bag, no 7 item then bag, no 7 item then bag

you will then get 3 bags worth £90 and £45 worth of goods for £30

ALSO get a coupon from the machine (spend £25 or £30 and get 300 points)

also open one of the free bags before purchase and you will find a 250 points voucher you can use since you are buying no 7 stuff. you may also be lucky in a large boots store to find a 10 % off a shop voucher.

in summary then you end up with 3 bags, 3 no 7 gift sets worth £135 for £30 and about £6 back in points

nice idea but read up on it first -

"Free gift when you spend £15 or more on no7 (EXCLUDES GIFT SETS AND ELECTRICAL)"

Your plan, good in theory, will therefore not work.
  • I am sure that others have reported that it does indeed work on the Gift Sets, it just depends on the person on the till. If they are willing to put them through for you then it does work. Just pick the person who looks less likely to be bothered. In my store I always pay at the photo kiosk as they couldn't care less what you are buying or how many vouchers you are using!

It does work. I did more or less the same thing when buying loads of gifts and it definately does work. I also pay at the photo kiosk as, like the previous poster says, they tend to accept anything.

it does work on gift sets instore, i asked 2 members of staff first and they both confirmed it, also bought gifts sets on bogogf and got a bag for two of them. It must be a quirk for online orders.

    well done marko4ever25 - bargain!

I tried it and asked the girl at the checkout to put them through in the order I passed them to her, and it all worked a treat! I did forget to get out the coupon from the bag, but they're valid until 3/1/06 (250 points bonus with any No 7 purchase). Thanks for the tip, I've just sorted 6 presents in one go, maybe I'll get another 6 tomorrow lunch ;)
  • Which gift packs are you buying. Online, I can only see a couple of summer sun gift packs, and 2 Xmas packs. Are there others?
  • Crikey.

Inbetween this and the tesco misprices thread I've practically sorted all my xmas presents for next to nothing!

Will pop into boots on the way home to try this. If it doesnt work I'll have left my credit card in the car.

I tried the 3 £15 gift sets today in the order OP suggested.....................and it works! Got 3 £15 gift sets and 3 bags for £30. Really good deal.
Also took 34 reprints to get developed. Checked Advantage machine first and it was offering BOGOF on reprints & enlargements. I asked if I could pay for them and collect them later in the week as they were really busy.
They said no because the Advantage slip was only valid for today, so had to be used today. Madness really as they were so busy. So went shopping and did the 1 hr service. I ended up paying £14.45 instead of £28.90 for my reprints.
    Bargain day today :)
