  • Good afternoon: A Norfolk based CORGI called gas4you gives good advice on the diynot plumbing and heating forum. If you contact him he could give you a better idea of costs/give you a quote (or he could be the CORGI who has quoted ;) ) As I posted previously, there are many variables at play here: someone local would be best placed to advise as I don't know what labour costs would be up in Norfolk.

  • Is a condensing boiler and a combi boiler one and the same?

    Hi

Thanks so much, I have the quote to hand from this Company, how would I know if these are a reputable firm. I have never heard of diynot, the quote looks much more acceptable, but it isnt like for like.

If I pm you would you be able to tell me if the quote is better or more acceptable?

Good evening: I don't know the CORGI personally but he is active in the gas industry and has helped many folks on the plumbing and heating forum on diynot. Take a look at the site and you will see what I mean. If you send me a pm of the quote I'll get back to you by pm.

Currently having a WB 30SI installed, old boiler, pipes and tanks removed from airing cupboard and boiler installed in kitchen below so some but only small amount of pipework. 3 TRV's and power flush, BG quoted 4200 ish with my discount for heating cover, went with a local firm charging 2800 ish
