Yes thats the very thread link there, And Ive realized what a complete stress head I am when it comes to finances.

Hes moved in 2nd September and Ive been trying since to sort this out, Obviously I need to spend more time on the phone and less time yakking on here. Mental note to self: Use Monday to ring everyone and sort things out as wingeing on here gets me nowhere, except some good advice.

And stop stressing and having £0.00 in bank is not the end of the world.

All advice taken in and action being taken (on Monday)

Thanks everyone will let you all know what happens.

And to add another thing there is not a cat in hells chance I will ever put anyone else on my mortgage ever ever ever again. Boyfriend mentioned yesterday that it would be better if he went on it as hes the main earner????????

Why would it make it better. He has no chance and I told him so... He is not the best at keeping payments on anything up. And after ex ripping me off for 17,000 and me having to pay it back Im not doing it again.

Very wise, do not put his name on the mortgage or deeds. Regardless of wether you are married or not, he could claim if things went a bit Pete Tong.

Just out of curiosity, how comes boy/f has such high bills, was he living in the Hilton Hotel before? Did he ever save? (i'm nosey :p )

Do you get child support of your ex, as that would be an income for you?
  • your tax credit claim pack will take 7-10 working days to arrive.

Just do your ctc claim over the phone-they are still open now and again tomorrow I believe until midday,I did this back in April and it was all dealt with very quickly.

As for BF-I'm sure he'll soon appreciate the benefits of living with you,not having to go home etc;) !
Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!
  • she cant do claim over phone, that is only for people whos partners have left and they are going into a single claim.

I made my claim over the hone. Providing partner is there when the call is made they can get all the info they need and then send out pack to be signed and relevant paperwork sent back. I took mine into JCP and asked for all paper work to be photocopied and verified as original then asked them to fax it over to save us waiting so long for a decision with a confirmation slip that it had been received at the other end. The only reason it took so long for them to resolve my claim was that they couldn't work out if we were entitled to WTC or just CTC due to OH previously being employed.
:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

    DD 1994, DS 1996 AND DS 1997

I think that misstropy may find that if she is living as a dependent on her boyfriend, he will be able to demonstrate that he has contributed to the mortgage and may have a claim on the house even if it is not in his name.
